Holy crap this place went down hill. $19 for a 10 year old to eat is outrageous especially when they don’t have much food to choose from. Half the buffet is a basic salad bar so there’s maybe 8 Chinese foods to choose from and half of them are old and soggy. Place is dirty and needs a good scrub down.

The Mongolia beef and honey sesame chicken combo is my go to. The only reason why I didn't rate it 5 stars ,the last time I ordered many pieces of the Chicken were over cooked or no chicken at all just breading, the staff are amazing ,courteous and friendly I would actually like to try dining in as it is a buffet.

Stopped in for lunch with my family at my daughter’s request, and we were pleasantly surprised. This all-you-can-eat buffet offers great value for the price. The variety of Chinese dishes and Mongolian BBQ ingredients was impressive, and everything we tried was fresh and flavorful. The restaurant was clean, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Perfect spot for a casual, satisfying meal.

Used to go here periodically when I lived in Anchorage. Prices have gone up substantially in 15-years! Food was still pretty decent, but the building, booths, tables, etc. are pretty worn out. They need some upgrades! Service was good. It's a quick fix for Asian food.

Only been here 2 times and I must say... NEVER AGAIN! The food selection is small and nothing special. Overlooking the dated decor dirty stained chairs/ benches and dim lighting, that's not what puts me off. This place is a walking Helth Code Violation!!!! I'm surprised they haven't been shut down and am shocked that a Heath inspector hasn't done it yet. Black mold is Everywhere!! you literally can't find a single wall that doesn't have very thick visible Black mold all over it!! The ceiling is completely filthy all the air vents are caked with dust witch falls off and floats around the air every time the air system kicks on. The grill area and kitchen area are covered in old grease and dust and are just seconds away from a full on kitchen fire!! There is no ventilation in the building and with all the food steamers going to keep the food hot it causes a hot condensation that accumulats everywhere witch only ads to the multiple problems. There is some kind of fruit fly problem in there building because you can see lil flying bug everywhere wouldn't be surprised if there is also a rodent problem but I luckily didn't see any. Overall this place should not be aloud to operate! I will definitely be calling a health inspector in hopes to get this place shut down till a time that it can be made safe for humans to eat there!

We have been going to this restaurant about 6 times a year for decades. The food has always been delicious and flavorful. The last few times I have noticed the food in the buffet has not been hot. Hot food in a buffet should be kept at about 140 degrees to keep it safe. I would be very much surprised if it was even 100 degrees. I had the fried chicken, some beef, fried rice, sweet and sour pork and while everything tasted good nothing was even close to hot from the buffet. When it happened the first time I thought maybe it was just a bad day. When it happens twice in a row it’s time to say good bye. Sorry we won’t be going any more because we have had a lot of delicious food and good memories, but I just can’t play rush and roulette with food safety.

So I was eating and had grease from the fan above us drip right on me. Grossed me out. I asked for a manager but was told no one can help. Cause there was no manager. 8 was on my 6th or 7th bite when this happened. I was so grossed out that I didn't want to touch the rest of my food and she still made me pay full price. As I was walking out the same lady just charged a lady 109.00. for 2 adults and two kids. And to me that doesn't sound right.

The ONLY reason they get 4 stars is because their actual buffet was just ok, this time, and they didn't have the tempura vegetables! It made me so sad. Anyway, we've been going to Ding How since they opened this location decades ago, and fell in love with the Mongolian grill offerings. In fact, since we moved to AZ in 2005 we make it a point to visit every time we're in Anchorage visiting family. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. We'll still keep coming back, and please have tempura vegetables again. ?
