It was a Friday night and it was busy but not so busy that the three bartenders that were there to leave me at my seat for 10 plus minutes and not acknowledge me at all! Ended up going to the Peanut Farm!

Thursday nights at 8pm, they do a country line dance night partnered with KBEAR radio. It is a blast! They have the Alaska Heel Scuffers there to teach a dance or two, then the rest of the evening is dancing. It's in the basement, so turn right down the stairs as soon as you walk in. As a woman, I always feel safe here and have a good time. There is food available upstairs, but it's not great. It felt dirty, and the two times I've ate there I wondered if I would get sick later. Never did, but it's a dive bar food feel. Everyone comes for the dancing! Drinks are decent, and they do a drawing for awesome gift cards and prizes at the end of the dancing. You get tickets by buying drinks, so come thirsty!

About six years ago (specifically, Sept 2017), I was the victim of a humiliating hazing incident at this bar, during which I was robbed.I had only been twice before (1 and 2 years earlier). I went inside to buy one meal and watch one football game. They insisted that I provide a debit card for “a tab”, which I thought was not really necessary, but I did for the first (and only) time ever. Another patron (presumably a regular) conned me into ringing a bell, and they charged $50 worth of other people’s drinks on my tab. I demanded the money back, which was in no uncertain terms stolen. The waitress working that night and her armed body guard then kicked me out and kept the money. Police told me to go to small claims court, and small claims court turned me away because $50 was “not enough money”. When I appealed to the owner, the owner refused to refund. The police claimed that it was a civil matter because there was “insufficient evidence” to claim it was a criminal matter (although I disagree), and all my attempts to reclaim my stolen money failed up until the limitations ran out. Some people would just “get over it” or move on, but I won’t. I am not over this, and I never will be until it is resolved.I will devote the entire rest of my life to getting these bullies shut down for the illegal thieves that they are, unless I am refunded $50 and receive an apology. I will not break any laws to do this, but I will otherwise use any means necessary. I will cost them as much business as I can until I am refunded. I imagine my life expectancy is about 40-50 more years, and that is how long I will take if necessary.

Went there for a late lunch, burger n freedom ?.Parking: If you can't find a spot to park in the large p/lot that isn't your only problem, lol. BIG PARKINGLOT.
Great place to eat with reasonable prices; you can't be beat prime rib Thursdays with the price and Taco Tuesdays. Vicki is one the best and sweetest bartenders and waitresses in Anchorage Sports bar that always provide great service with a beautiful smile and attitude.

My go to bar for Thursday nights , also taco Tuesday is the bomb! Good food, awesome bartenders, strong drinks, the prime rib is always flavorful, the adjou is so good, mashed taters or baked taters. Stop by, you can't even get a big mac meal for under $15 anymore, you definitely won't regret it
