El Rodeo Mexican Restaurant and Bar

We are passing through Anchorage and saw the sign, so stopped in hoping for some good Mexican food like we have in South Carolina and El Rodeo did not disappoint! Starting with the amazing margaritas and the super yummy queso spinach dip, we knew we had chosen well! The service was Great and the food was fantastic! Creamy, hot and very favorable! Really can't recommend this place high enough. Don't let the outside deter you as it looks like nothing special, but inside is some great food! We highly recommend!

Wonderful family owned business. I been going for years. Recommend mole and chipotle. Great margaritas and friendly employees. Add eggs to your meal to make a delicious breakfast.

At first I wasn't quite sure about this place. The outside seemed a little unwelcoming. Once inside the staff were great, the food was very good. Don't let the looks fool you, stop in 😊

This place was recommended to me by a friend and I was not disappointed. We had the fajitas with halibut, shrimp, chicken, and steak. Different tequila I hadn't tried. Good margaritas on the rocks. The refried beans were awesome as well. I'm definitely eating here again. The owner clearly cares about what he does.

Imma half breed, Half Inupiaq/half Mexican. AKA(Meximo). Anyway see it being we in Alaska, my diet growing up had more traditional native foods then not. In order for me to go and eat out at Mexican restaurants is I got to have someone who's traditional food is Mexican food. I called my dad (whom by the way, is from Guadalajara). BTW he made a good choice in ordering my meal for me.

The food was very good. I had the Three Taquitos with beans and rice. The staff was very sweet and took care of my entire family. We will definitely come back and try more food on the menu. A very nice experience 10/10

Excellent food. I had the steak fajitas and it definitely hit the spot. The chips and salsa were fresh. I will definitely be back.

Order was messed up. Salsa tasted like ketchup. Carne asada tacos was a whole steak with tortillas on the side.

I come to this restaurant every weekend or whenever I'm free from work.

Food is very good, drinks are amazing, and the owners are very welcoming.

Would go there everyday if I had the expenses.
