Nobody’s a perfect 5 star…. especially in Muldoon! But this little place always delivers. Carlos and his staff are stellar. Waters and chips are always full without asking. This is my families choice for Mexican this side of Gambel St.. Great Mexican beer choice with some of the frostiest glasses in town. Food has never disappointed but some dishes are certainly their specialties and worth revisiting. Their verde sauce is magic.

i travel alot and been to Hundreds of Different Mexican restaurants . especialy own by different races, and never in my life have I experience what I experience at this restaurant . we asked for 2 orders of chicken tacos and side of rice . wen they brought out the food they were Shredded chicken with tortilla we asked the waiter that thats not what tacos are she went and got her manager who was really rude and said thats how tacos are Suppose to look nd if i wanted the Original kind of chicken i would have to pay because he was not gonna waste what they cooked ..but will Definitely not recommend

The food was delicious and the service was amazing too. They food was hot and served fast. The waitress was so accommodating and made sure we were set at all times.
Don’t take your family, this isn’t a family or kid friendly establishment, there are “regulars” who sit at the bar and are absolutely obnoxious, yelling and cursing, even with a family right behind them. I’ve tried making complaints to the staff but apparently if you come in to drink everyday, your comfort and experience is more important than the rest of the paying customers. This use to be our favorite spot for lunch after church but it has gone downhill and is clearly being ran into the ground; they might as well turn it into a bar at this point. Don’t bother making a complaint, it will fall on deaf ears, just avoid this place and take your family somewhere respectable.

This place is awesome and one of the best Mexican restaurants I've been too in Alaska. The service was great and the waitress are the best, the food was perfect and was hot and ready when served everyone was satisfied with there experience. The place was very clean and authentic. I wanted to go back the moment I left!Chips and salsa on the table were great, we had to get more.He got the Burrito de Asada burrito and I got the Chile Verde.Everything was freshly made and hot when it was served.The rice and beans were flavorful and a bit runny, so if you like a thicker bean this may not be for you.The meat was sooo tender and juicy, it fell apart in my mouth and it was like eating butter. Which I was impressed with considering we had steak and pork.The burrito was my favorite and I'm still going to go back and get my own.I will DEFINITELY be going back here.Mike was my wonderful server, and he helped me make a decision on what to get and gave good recommendations. He was attentive and checked on us to make sure we had everything set needed.The booths were clean and the atmosphere was very friendly.They also offer Sunday football!*21+* I had a tequila sunrise and it was more tequila than sunrise but I'm also a lightweight, but it was definitely well made! Next time will try a blended Margarita.
This place has an amazing staff. The food for the most part is really good. I do feel some of the spicy meals could be spicier, but they do have a jalapeno margarita that is spicy and confuses my tastebuds into oblivion, but it is hella good.
Our family loves this place - The food is great - the service is awesome- and the prices are reasonable. El Rodeo never disappoints.
