Always great food, and the server G is awesome. Really enjoy the bar looking over the grill area, and honestly that would be where I recommend sitting. Upon arrival the place was busy as usual, however luckily a table just came available yet, need wiped down still. We sat down. There is a young server with short brown hair named Zoe, she said she would be right back to wipe down the table and take our order, we said no problem, after waiting around 10 minutes and watching her chat with multiple people at the bar(she wasn’t taking an order she was just chatting and laughing), I had to waive for her to even come over and when she did she was rude, only wiped the table and walked away without even taking our order. My wife and I got up and moved to the other side of the restaurant where we have sat several times and was served by G and never had this type of issue. Zoe is unprofessional and needs to work on her customer service and how she greets and respects the patrons that keep this place in business, she even decided to stand by the bar, made eye contact with me and proceeded to mouth inappropriately towards me. I shook my head at her and told her I’ll be calling the owner in the morning seeing how he wasn’t there when I asked G if I could speak to a manager about Zoe. Otherwise the food is amazing.
I’d suggest getting a new server very soon. The other server G is always nice, prompt, professional and just overall good to the patrons that come to f street station
Vibrant and diversely populated little club/eatery with a drinking problem and has the ambience to match. “Younger” and hipper clientele for sure, but accessible to 40+ peeps.
Food-Small menu with great choices. Pastas are stellar. Seafood choices galore and the Beer battered halibut is unrivaled. You really can’t order anything bad.
Service-Veteran servers with longevity in employment. Mostly cute 30 something’s that know how to cocktail. Fast, observant and efficient staff.
Ambiance-Pilot/Aviation themed. Although “themed” is disingenuous. This place is the real deal with airborne and aircrew stickers pasted on the walls from all over the world. This is a long time Anchorage late night eatery and meeting place for a more upscale and cultured clientele who enjoy late nights. Loud, but filled with friendly conversations that could make you cry, blush or just drop your jaw. Always busy, but the turn around is quick. Just wait at the door (no host) and look for someone finishing eating and slamming their last beer before they “begin their night out”. Love this place. Great for date night and revitalizing my Anchorage youth.
