Go at your own risk! Once you have eaten here, it is terribly hard to not return. A harsh cycle of great eats, friendly service, and a need to exercise more.

Best bakery in town and the closest we have to European bread. Sandwiches are always fresh, I interesting and delicious. Cakes....omg so good! If you haven't been here you definitely should. and the K street location is especially cool!

Love the baked goods here! I especially love the croissants as they're perfectly flakey. I love to come here as a treat to myself. The baked goods are that wonderful. I highly recommend

I've been twice to Fire Island Rustic Bakery, and I totally recommend it!Really good, quality food. I took a brownie, a cupcake and a tofu sandwich, it was super good and it's rare to find this type of places in Anchorage! The people are really nice and patient. The place is cosy.

We ordered these cupcakes last minute after our tasting. We lead such busy lives our wedding was also very last minute, this team really pulled through to make the foods we served extremely memorable! Both flavors were a huge hit! And so beautifully made! Love the rustic look and taste. Highly recommend for special occasions or even just a morning treat! Heck anytime treat! Definitely found a diamond!

Fire Island has delicious baked goods, and the breakfast sandwich was surprising! It was spicy and sweet and not what you expect from a sandwich but in the best possible way! It was a perfectly filling breakfast for our drive to Denali.

From the first bite this became the single best bakery I've ever been too. It's a destination. The staff is exceptional attentive and the ambiance is delightful

Always has great artisan bread. Being raised in Europe you get an appreciation for great bread. Fire Island is some of the best I've had.

Best bakery in Anchorage. Wide variety of breads and friendly staff. Love the south location behind Costco

Been here many times. Small selection of pastries and breads. My favourites are the baguette (buy more then one:) , PB cookies, granola and scones. I liked the cakes but did not love them. By far the best bakery I’ve been to in Anchorage. Their soups are v good too! Women that work here are always so cheerful.

This is a delicious bakery. Ironically located next to Vibe cycling studio and across from Anchorage Brewing Company, it's the perfect spot to negate your workout of cure the beer munchies. Both the bread and pastries are baked to perfection. I can speak for the croissants, the chocolate cupcakes and the carrot cake. The hours can be somewhat sporadic, so check online or call before you go out of your way for a visit.

First the building is a great looking modern design, only outside seating so if it’s cold you may have to eat in your car. My wife and I had breakfast at the south location. The breakfast sandwich I had was delicious. The bake good all looked amazing, we decided to buy some for the later day. The classic cars near the business are a nice view if you appreciate old classics.

We are soooooo glad we found this place! If they were open more days and we had more time we would definitely have gone back to try more things. Breakfast bread with the egg cooked in was out of this world. We each wanted our own but it was the absolute last one so we shared :) good choice as it enabled us to grab scones also. (We didn't want to go hungry now... did we lol) everything was very delectable. Absolutely wait in line!!!! It is totally worth it!

The place was clean, staff was friendly and they moved the line quickly at a good flow. They did not have mochas available but the staff offered to mix hot chocolate with drip coffee and it tasted just fine. The pastries and wraps were huge and tasty. We will definitely return to try other choices.
