Took my little one in for the first time, a few issues I had was the gal that took our order was not super friendly or welcoming. She seemed upset, not sure if that is just her personality but it did not leave a good taste for an atmosphere that is meant to be kid friendly..Secondly, parents need to watch there kids. I don’t know how and if staff can enforce that since they are not employed to babysit so may not be aware but there were older kids literally rough housing and flinging each other by the arms. Bathroom smelled pretty bad because diapers are not being disposed of properly. I would recommend fresh cup not advertise that if parents need a mental break they can just go here to dump their kids and let them go off and play unsupervised and unborthered because there ad is insinuating that.
I would still recommend this play place because they have good coffee, reasonable pricing, good play equipment, and we need more indoor play houses in Alaska!

Fresh Cup Playhouse is such a wonderful place for families! The play area is adorable and so thoughtfully set up for kids, and the café side makes it a perfect spot for parents to relax too. You can really tell how much care and love has gone into creating this space—it’s such a gem for the community!

I tentatively would give this place a yes for recommendations. Today was the first time we came and my kiddos were super excited. They are 4 and 1.5. Everything was going fine until an older girl threw a foam brick at my son which took his breath away. From observation I would assume she was older than 8 and I’m assuming related to an employee as she went into the back office when a table of adults and other children left. Anyways long story short, I would only come back if they are not busy as my son was scared to go back in the play area.

clearly not autistic kid friendly cause lady really walked up to me while I was already trying to discipline/correct him and tried to discipline /tell me he can't do that don't you see me trying like back the hack away and leave us alone... not coming back

We had lots of fun at the playhouse today. The play attendant, Sharma, was so kind and friendly with the kids, helping to diffuse some small kid problems and keeping the area clean. My son decided to be her 'helper' finding the squished balls and she was so patient with him! Thank you Sharma! 💕

this place is awesome! the owners have really created an environment anchorage desperately needed. the coffee is 🙌🏼 but im totally partial to the blond barista named ava. she makes theeee best drinks and has the warmest personality! i cross my fingers i get her working every time because my coffee tastes that much different when she makes it.

Visited with my toddler nieces. This place is fantastic, especially in the winter, with a hot drink and a warm, clean place for the Littles to play. My sister really enjoyed letting her kids play some energy out here. There's a section designated for babies, too, so they don't get run over by the bigger kids.
