Visiting Anchorage and was craving for some Korean food and saw this restaurant in the same Plaza mall, next to the Korean restaurant. Had a change of heart and gave Fukumaru a shot... Had the Spicy Pork combo, Spicy teriyaki and the Chicken Udon. Took about 15 minutes for them to prepare the food... Everything came out super Fresh!! The spicy pork they serve is the traditional Korean spicy pork BBQ, which was surprisingly pleasing to the pallet... The spicy teriyaki chicken...

Amazing teriyaki it reminds me of the teriyaki at my favorite restaurant when I was a kid so it causes a lot of nostalgia even though it isn't the same place the taste is the same.

Bare bones restaurant with four tables and four high tops. Zero atmosphere but good food. No alcohol. Sodas and tea. Our combo of pork katsu and chicken teriyaki w potstickers was a good value. Everything done perfectly w crispy katsu and tender teriyaki. Sauces were a bit bland. Generous portion of sticky rice.Our order fed two seniors.
