This was my first time going and I made a reservation to celebrate an anniversary. The restaurant had a nice ambiance and seemed clean, although it was a bit loud since the tables are kind of close together. Our server was outstanding and very knowledgeable about the menu. The General Tao'anders chicken was spectacular and my boyfriend and I agreed it was some of the best chicken we'd ever had! The drunken noodles were less stellar (a little too salty) but still good. I indicated on the reservation that it was our anniversary, and the manager was kind enough to provide us with a complimentary dessert that was as delicious as it was pleasing to look at. We'll definitely be returning!
A really nice place, good for dates. It actually has a full stock bar unlike many places that claim to. Food is good too, it's downtown so it close to most places.

Definitely an upscale dining establishment with great atmosphere, great service and great food. A most enjoyable experience.
Go to for espresso martinis now 😍😍 need to come back and try the food
We were very happy with the wonderful appetizers, tasty and pretty. The main course could have been good but the level of saltiness was intolerable. We had the curry and the noodle dish.
Excellent quality food and 5-star service!
Always love dining at Ginger. It was a nice quiet night for our anniversary and Derek is an amazing server.
Ginger was exceptional from start to finish. The general tso’s fried chicken was the best meal! Hit every note and was plated beautifully. Definitely recommend Ginger!

So tasty! Will definitely go again. It’s quite pricey but is one of the few restaurants in town that cook with fresh, whole ingredients.

Rarely am I tempted by both the cocktails and dessert, but the offerings by Ginger were so spectacular that I had to indulge in both. Add in professional service and an entree to die for and I was left with a truly great dining experience.
(The green sauce on the pork chops was seriously unreal. Great job!)

Steak was chewy. For a $30 steak I would expect to cut it with a fork. Fries were very salty. Like shake the salt off before eating.
Drinks were not very good. Very tart cosmo, second drink tasted like the rind of the orange, although better than the Cosmo. The wellness Collins was the best of what drinks we ordered and it wasn't something to brag about.

Always exceptional food. Always friendly staff. Always a good bartender as well if you order a mixed drink. And they're committed to remaining downtown so Anchorage has some vibrant downtown activity.
Try the Mee Krob— it was delicious and perfectly spicy. The Tuna Tower was nicely marinated. Drinks were good; loved the art on the walls. Attentive service and great timing. Glad we decided to go there!!
