One of the best dining experiences I've had in Anchorage! They accommodated my food intolerances to two major food groups, the food came out quickly and accurate, and the servers there are so nice!
I have always loved ginger. I keep going back because of the consistency of the food and drinks. The Mac and cheese, chicken lettuce wraps and the meekrob are always delicious, but this last time that I went was so strange. I got the meekrob. The shrimp tasted fine, but oddly enough the chicken and the sausage in my dish tasted so fishy that I couldn’t even eat the meat. My boyfriend got the drunken noodles, and they were so salty that they were almost inedible. We do not complain when we go out, and I have NEVER sent food back to the kitchen. I’m not that kinda girl. I grin and bear it, but I was pretty disappointed this last time eating there. Born and raised in Alaska and local to Anchorage, it’s one of my staples, but I don’t know how much I’ll be eating there in the future.

We haven't been to Ginger in a few years. That was a mistake. The updated menu had great selections! Our server, Crystal, was pleasant, efficient, and provided great descriptions of menu items. We'll be back soon.
Good mixology. Food was promising but only tried one dish so a little soon to judge. Service varied with the individual

This was my parent's first time dining with you, and they are committed to being return customers. We'd like to highlight how delicious all our dishes were, and share appreciation for the wonderful experience from host, beverage fills, table clearing, and diner care. Derek C was above and beyond fantastic! Thank you!
Food was excellent. Wonderful array of tastes and textures to choose from. Service was also excellent without being intrusive. Highly recommended.
Our server was very attentive and double checked my order since I can't eat certain things. I appreciated that. The food was excellent and of good quality. The cost was reasonable for a nice restaurant. Downtown parking is the only drawback.
The atmosphere was good the food was amazing the servers were excellent and I would definitely go back again.
Another great dining experience at Ginger. From the fantastic service to the wonderful flavors of the food and the hand crafted cocktails all were exceptional as usual.

Food was very good overall with some exceptions such as the swordfish was very mediocre and tasting a bit old and tired. Not what is expected for $38 and a small portion. The noodle dishes were very good but expensive value wise. Service was decent, although a tad slow.
Server was so engrossed with another party at the bar that we didn’t get asked for additional cocktails or how our food was.. had to flag down the bar man to get the check.

Food was solid 8/10. A little overpriced but still good food. Service was good. $100 for 2 people. I would return just to try other dishes, but I feel like I can get better asian food for cheaper. The wings were the best dish. The creme brulee was not good to me nor my husband.

This was my first time going and I made a reservation to celebrate an anniversary. The restaurant had a nice ambiance and seemed clean, although it was a bit loud since the tables are kind of close together. Our server was outstanding and very knowledgeable about the menu. The General Tao'anders chicken was spectacular and my boyfriend and I agreed it was some of the best chicken we'd ever had! The drunken noodles were less stellar (a little too salty) but still good. I indicated on the reservation that it was our anniversary, and the manager was kind enough to provide us with a complimentary dessert that was as delicious as it was pleasing to look at. We'll definitely be returning!
A really nice place, good for dates. It actually has a full stock bar unlike many places that claim to. Food is good too, it's downtown so it close to most places.
