Ginger is a great spot, and the bar side has an especially hip atmosphere with great lighting and comfortable booth seating. This time I ordered one of my favorites - the tofu and quinoa salad with extra dressing on the side, because that dressing is the bomb. It's the perfect meal. My partner got the lettuce wraps, which also come with a delicious sauce. He ordered a vodka with their scratch ginger ale while I had a nice pinot noir. Great service, ambience and excellent food. Ginger always delivers.

What a fantastic discovery! From the outside, you might not realize the culinary treasure that awaits within the Ginger restaurant in Anchorage, but stepping through that front door instantly reveals a true gem. We were met with such a warm greeting from the moment we arrived. Our waitress was absolutely incredible; we asked for her recommendations and even trusted her to choose the appetizers for our party of six. She made excellent choices that everyone thoroughly enjoyed! For my main course, the duck was deliciously prepared, and her suggestion of their homemade ginger ale was fabulous – a must-try. As we savored our meal, we all agreed without hesitation that we would definitely come back again. Ginger is truly a wonderful, hidden neighborhood gem that exceeded all expectations. Highly recommend!

My meal was fine, but my friend's was not. I had the beef curry and banana lemongrass soup, which needed to be hotter, but the flavor was good. My friend ordered the scallop appetizer. The waiter told her if the scallops were “large” there would be 4 on the plate. The 4 very “small” scallops were delivered on a very large plate and definitely not worth $25. She also ordered the Panzanella salad. All it had was lettuce, one cherry tomato cut in half, and about four cubes of “toasted hamburger bun”, and balsamic dressing on the side. If left her with a feeling of “meh”.

Delicious food - had the twist on KFC chicken and Mee Krob noodles. Large portions compared to UK so couldn't finish but they provided a box to takeaway which was great. Nice presentation. Also had Saturn cocktail which was very good. Staff were efficient but possibly a little robotic so didn't seem entirely genuine. Didn't spoil our experience and would recommend highly.

The food and the staff never failed me at Ginger's. We had the poke tower, the lettuce wraps, the chicken wings, and some entrées all were delicious in their own, right.

This was our best experience there yet. We have been several times. The pacing from the waitress was perfect. All the food was excellent! A little bit too much dressing on the appetizer salad, but that's the only complaint. Love the ambience also.

We had just arrived in Anchorage and wanted a restaurant close to the Trolley Tour on 4th. Ginger as an Asian Fusion restaurant was an excellent choice. The Cosmos were yummy as were the Lager and IPA beers. Our server was pleasant and attentive. Everyone's main dish was delicious! We would highly recommend Ginger to enjoy a special meal.

Reymi was our waiter and provided excellent service. He was attentive and guided us toward just what we wanted. The food was excellent too. Healthy and well proportioned. We especially loved the cous cous tofu salad. We had vegan curry and the tuna poke for our entrees. Both great dishes.
This was our 2nd dining experience this week at Ginger, and it was great! Delicious food & wine, AND great service with Mason who was professional, prompt & personable! We will return when in Anchorage next.

The food and service was excellent, 2 had main courses and 2 had apps with salad. Beautiful presentation and flavorful. Margarita recipe needs work, but lots of other options to choose from. I miss the short rib on cheesy grits! We will be back.
