Stopped in last week and the cinnamon roll was no bueno. The staff must've been having an off day because they were acting like they just arrived here from outer space. The cinnamon roll tasted like raw dough, sugar in between layers was crunchy. Would be very hesitant to get another cinnamon roll. The breads are very good, coffee is so/so. The cinnamon chip and cranberry walnut breads are worth trying. The staff are very friendly and, in my experience, are patient with less experienced customers.

The sandwiches I’ve tried are really good! Downside is that they’re a bit expensive and the punchcard doesn’t even cover the cost of a full sandwich.
I would recommend the sample breads with nuts be placed on a different board and have its own knife to serve. Very sad I’m unable to sample the breads due to nut allergies.

Stopped here 3x a week after my class to get coffee. I just like their coffee and the sandwiches I mostly like taste a lot of them. Their yummy to my tummy. It’s my favorite place to be while waiting for your order they give a pc of love. No place like this. Good people good owner. Love it!

Very expensive sandwiches. And bread. And pretty much everything else that they sell, even for Anchorage. I got the smoked salmon sandwich today and was almost, but not quite, thoroughly disappointed. There's so little salmon and So. Much. Filler! $14.00 is a lot for a sandwich by itself; no chips or drinks included here! I could justify it if I could have actually tasted the salmon! But the real kicker is that I also got a chicken salad sandwich for my coworker, and it ALSO was $14! Its chicken, for heaven's sake, not the golden goose, and chicken SALAD, at that! (Filler, filler, & more filler!) I hate to give bad reviews because I know that everyone is struggling these days, but this seems like over the cost of inflation, even for Anchorage. Go to Sophia's instead. They'll take care of you with bigger sandwiches for a lot less money, and you'll get a trip to one of the best salad bars in Alaska with your sandwich! However, Great Harvest's counter help is very nice and I do love their customer service.

No management of what is going on with customers orders. I had to back track my order to the person who took my money and prove I had yet to get my food. And not one person expressed any regrets of this. Very sad ?

Delicious! My favorite breakfast sandwich is the Red Rooster on Rye- absolutely recommend. The bread selection is also wonderful. Some of their more popular loaves sell out earlier though so I’d recommend going earlier in the day if you want to grab a whole loaf. I like that they offer samples while you wait, which are also very decent in size btw! Coffee selection is limited, but still good for what you get and the staff are very friendly! Overall, definitely a place that you’ll go to more than once.

I really love this place so much. It doesn’t matter what I order or how many times, the quality never declines and the people are always so nice. Their sandwiches are absolutely delicious and their bread is great too! Definitely recommend!

Wow! The bread is unreal. We ended up stopping here every day of our trip. The kids loved the Honey Wheat bread and the cinnamon roll lives up to the hype. Absolutely recommend!

Kid-friendliness: Our kids looked forward to getting a free bread & butter sample every time we went!

We ordered the roast beef sandwiches ?. They were great. We also were offered bread to try which was a nice treat. The staff were welcoming, helpful, and patient. It can get busy and there is a small area for sitting which is why they receive 4 stars for atmosphere.
