Loved the peanut butter chocolate chip and cinnamon swirl bread so much that I bought some to take on the flight back home with me. They are geniuses here for offering a sample (read: a whole slice of bread, slathered with butter).
This place is amazing!! Do not miss out on trying this place. They have baked goods, salads and sandwiches. I have the July sandwich turkey Cobb and it was great. And this is the first time in a long time that I ate before I took the picture. 😔
10/10 recommend go in and order some fresh baked bread and sandwich. Oh and you can order online!!

I will never try bread like this again. I will be dreaming of this bread for the rest of my life. We delayed our drive to Denali by 40 minutes just to make sure we got our hands on the cinnamon-chip bread that comes out at 10:30. Definitely recommend coming here for some delicious bread and sweets. A must-visit if you are in the Anchorage area. And they give you a free slice off their bread board with every purchase.

I love that they make fresh real bread but the loaves are really too big. I understand they're trying to keep things the way it was in the past. But it doesn't make any sense to sell these gigantic Game of Throne things of bread unless you are feeding a whole army of people. I bought two things of bread different flavors and I thought maybe they were going to slice them up or something but they don't. You can buy a bread knife but you're stuck trying to figure out what to do with these huge medieval size rocks of bread. I tried to freeze it save it but it didn't work. I ended up having to throw them in the trash. I can only get off bits at a time and by then the bread was a fresh anymore. I didnt know how to keep bread that size fresh. it was too much for one person to have. I thought I was going to be able to cut and toast it but it's not like making regular sandwiches with this bread. I'm not sure how they make the sandwiches there fron these loaves. But I think I would prefer to just get the sandwiches on the different flavored bread from them because when I bought the cinnamon roll and the apple chip loaf to take home to try to do myself--it did not work. I wasted the money buying that bread-- I will not do that again. It's better to let them make the sandwiches and just get the to go orders I'm not sure who is buying the whole loaves when I was there I didn't see anyone else doing it now I understand why there's no way you can eat that if you thinking that you can get a loan for this bread cut it off slice it and have it as a snack make a sandwich dipping into oil before it goes bad, you can't unless you have Tyrannosaurus Rex hands and can rip apart the bread in one thrust and you have like a mouth the size of a wooly mammoth, it doesnt work. I really tried. I would like to know who's able to buy these loaves of bread and actually eat it the whole thing. The lines were really long probably because they have to cut those huge chunks of bread to make sandwiches from. There was almost no place to sit but I had come just before 12:00

I ordered thru door dash and paid 4.25$ for a single cookie. It was nowhere the size of the picture on the website. Mine was the size of the palm of my hand. it was small and tasty but not for the price. I was very disappointing. The sandwich was very good.
Spread my ashes here when I die. As soon as that hot bacon lettuce tomato touches my lips, I am unrecognizable. I salivate thinking about great harvest bread co. I need the chipotle sauce flowing through my veins. No complaints. EVER. Once you go great harvest bread co you never go back.

Chipotle turkey is very good. You really cannot go wrong ordering anything from here. From breads, to pastries, to hot and cold sandwiches.
I always love the complimentary piece of fresh bread and butter. Such a well run business on many fronts.
