Restaurant is 5 stars, service was excellent, food was delicious. I order the jambalaya bowl, Wow, flavor was amazing. Chicken and shrimp was my choice. With a layer of rice top and bottom. Second order, a chicken sandwich with fries. Chicken was moist and full of flavor, the fries engulfed on seasoning tasted amazing. I will recommend this restaurant to my travel friends.

Our dinner at Gumbo House was an absolute delight! We went with friends for a mid-afternoon meal and left feeling incredibly satisfied. The service from the father-son team, Gustavo and Gustavo, was outstanding; they were so helpful with recommendations and created such a relaxed atmosphere that we felt completely at ease to sit, eat, and chat for as long as we liked. Every dish we ordered – the Gumbo, Jambalaya, tacos, and shrimp – was prepared to perfection. This is a truly special spot in Anchorage, and we can't wait to return!
