A bit of a different review. Although I have had their food before I am here just to thank and praise their staff. I locked myself out of my running pickup along with my phone inside nearby. both members of the front staff were quick to help me call 2 different cabs because Yellow cab refused to help, so we went with City cab. Anyways, they were helpful, and I appreciate the effort. Many places these days are not willing to let strangers use their phones and go beyond their duties. Thank You

I was looking forward to the loco moco but the beef patty was just char and bland that I could barely stomach it.. I ate half the patty drowned with the rest which was great, threw out the other half of the patty. Gravy was great, and so was the mac and rice.

Food just wasn't good. Beef was one degree away from being beef jerky. Mac salad and chicken was bland. Rice was old. Not sure who's giving this place 5 stars especially at the prices they charge.
Hula Hands grill is the fire and in the meat is the smoke and on the grill tastes like the hickory of the wood. There is a lot to be in that flavor.

I didn't choose the restaurant, my son and daughter recommended it. I thought the food looked terrible, it didn't help that the facility is falling apart, paint peeling off walls, furniture was old and worn as was the whole feel to the place. I ordered a burger and threw it away later, not taking a bite of any food while there. My children and grandchildren ate fine, as did my wife. The place is shabby, which doesnt do well to my mind for the condition of the food. We were meeting late there and were near closing when we left, so I left a large tip to be magnanimous as my daughter was making a special announcement. Anyway paid the bill with generous tip and the next morning got an alert from the credit card I used there that someone tried to purchase $150 worth of coffee at Starbucks. That was the only place I used that card at the day before, so Im pretty sure that the person(s) whom I gave a large tip to, then skimmed my card and tried to use it later. I do not recommend eating here
Great little place. Food was great. Good portions for the price. Had a food challenge that looked interesting. All in all good place to go.

The food was delicious! We ordered a wrap and two misubi’s one with spam the other with the chicken. We missed the Kalua pig as they were sold out once we got there around 6 p.m. the Teri beef and Lau Lau were delicious! Highly recommend!

I was blown away! Huge portions with great flavor. Every time I am in Anchorage I have to stop in and get some food. If you are up here on work and need some cooked proteins for a couple of days just order a couple sides of chicken, pork or the beef and you will be set. One side of chicken will last you a couple of meals.
