Great safe place to eat. Janice and Patrick were so nice and friendly! Super appreciate their customer service. The food was great and huge portions!! Janice's dogs are adorable too!

Yeah my server could not have cared less about me explaining my dietary restrictions, opting instead to just give me blanket statements like “ok well you won’t be able to eat anything here then” in response to hearing I’m allergic to gluten (celiac disease). I’ve flown home and I’m still annoyed about it because this was the only time during my trip that I opted to dine in somewhere. Bummer :/

In my trip to Anchorage, this was the first place of dining that I genuinely felt like I was home. The waitresses and back of house alike are super friendly and charismatic. Coming at the perfect time and asking the right questions. The atmosphere has a lot of personality and just the way they executed things was smart and made it feel more personable. Hell even bringing a whole loaf of toasted white bread all perfectly buttered for a table of 6 instead of all of us getting a slice or two on each plate was a pleasant surprise for me. The food was fantastic. We all got omelettes and just packed with toppings that were cooked with a love you only get from home. This will be my regular breakfast every time I'm back here.

If I could hive this place Zero stars I would.. I can not believe how rude the staff is I was shocked to see there were people eating here., I came in for a door dash order NOT A ONE EMPLOYEE asked if they could help me. When I finally stopped a waitress I asked if she could check in this order all she said we are busy probably 15 mins., she could not even take the time to check on this order! While I was waiting this other waitress Extremely obnoxious would answer the phone “we’re open” in a pretty snappy tone, then she would like listen to what the other person on the phone would say hang up the phone and then complained that they did didn’t say thank you to other customers that were in the Restaurant. In my personal opinion, that was extremely rude and horrible customer service. I Had to wait almost 30 minutes before I can pick up my DoorDash, which was only a cheeseburger. I will never spend any of my personal money on this place that is 100% for sure and reading the other reviews. Other people are disappointed. They did spend money on this place.

Chicken fried steak with small dry kind of out of the box gravy was middle of the road home fries where dry out of the bag frozen potatoes you could get a better chicken fried steak and real potatoes at gwennie's for the same money but the staff was excellent at serving and taking care of the customers

Disgusting ! Doordashed the workers breakfast, bacon tasted sour & rotten, home fries were hard as rock & the gravy on my biscuits tasted like nothing but salt and grease ? the ONLY up to this order was that it was still slightly warm and the eggs were not expired. Never again. I don’t know who is keeping them in business.
