The chips and salsa were a miss. The enchiladas were good. The mini chimi's were really good. For Alaska it wasn't bad. Our server was very friendly.

Food was good. Drinks good too. A bit pricey, but then everything is nowadays. A bit noisy/loud but still good atmosphere.

Waited over 20 minutes for a server and then another 45 minutes for food. Food was mediocre at best

Jalapeños off Old Seward is one of my go-to spots for mini tacos in Anchorage! I absolutely love their five mini tacos—I've tried the shrimp, halibut, and carne asada, and every single one has been flavorful and super filling. Their chile rellenos are also a favorite of mine.

I usually order takeout or get it delivered since I live on the west side of town, and it’s a bit out of the way for me. But the food is always worth it! Delivery has always been smooth, no issues whatsoever, and the portion sizes are just right and generous without being overwhelming.

We were seated and given chips… waited and did not get greeted by a server or get a least a drink order in. We decided to leave and eat somewhere else.

Waited at the front while multiple servers passed us without acknowledgment. We left.

We had an incredible dinner at Jalapeños in Anchorage. The food was delicious and full of flavor across the board. The Alaskan tacos were a standout—packed with flavor and big enough to share. The birria tacos were tender and juicy, and the dipping sauce was amazing. We also had the queso, which was rich and flavorful, and churros that were perfectly crispy and sweet.

But what truly made the experience memorable was the exceptional service. Our waitress, Zenobia, went above and beyond. She was warm, attentive, and made us feel like we were having dinner at a friend’s home rather than a restaurant.

If you’re in Anchorage and craving Mexican food, Jalapeños is a must-visit. Come hungry, and ask for Zenobia!

This is my go to place for Mexican. Always a great atmosphere, food is always fresh and on spot, and the Margaritas always hit the spot.
