I'm a good friend of Joy and I would say that Joy's Corner is my go to spot in 5th Ave Mall. Not only is the price good but the food is also good and Joy provides excellent service

10/10 If I could give more stars on this review I would. Easily the best food i’ve had in Anchorage. If you’re visiting this is a great relief from the typical tourist trap overpriced restaurants downtown. I’m a pilot which means two things: I travel constantly and I like to eat alot of good food. I will come visit Joy at least once if not more every time I am in Anchorage. Joy is an incredible chef, I haven’t had anything I haven’t loved on the menu. Personal favorite is the steak burrito or the Reindeer sausage. The burritos are enormous (bigger than a 16.9oz water bottle). Not only do I love the food but I’ve gotten to know Joy over the last couple months, and I could think of nothing better than eating amazing food while supporting a local small business entrepreneur.

This gem is hidden up in the 5th Avenue Mall food court. It is the best value downtown, and the food is fantastic. The R&R is massive, my kid raved about the breakfast burrito, and may spam musubi with egg was very generous and tasty. I forgot to take pictures because we were busy scarfing food.Both kids asked me to add that the hot chocolate is excellent.

This place always has a fun array of coffee combos to try and there all truly delicious. Customer service has always been amazing with the staff consistently having a good attitude. Definitely the perfect place to visit before walking around the mall.

Trusted the google reviews and ? they ? did ? not ? lie. 12/10, this place is a GEM! Cozy and delicious food, stellar coffee and delightful customer service.
