Fantastic breakfast! Friendly staff and welcoming traditional cafe!

Everyone was so friendly and the service was very good! Our coffee cups and water cups were filled constantly, and the food came out very quickly, even with a smaller cooking staff from what I saw, I applaud their hard work! The food was decently priced. Do keep in mind that they only accept cash or check, but they have an ATM on-site.

This is the exact place I needed to have the perfect small-diner experience. I felt like the employees want to be here, not that they have to be here. No credit cards; cash or check only (they have an ATM). Similar menu to other places that serve breakfast, but everything just tasted better here, as if they make everything themselves.

Parking: The parking lot in front of the restaurant is very narrow (compacts only), but there is a wider lot over to the side.

Get the cinnamon roll! Everything here is delicious and made fresh. This is the quintessential Alaskan diner. Cash only is the only downside.

Great breakfast/lunch place with awesome staff. We made sure to come back again before leaving town, and will be sure to stop in again the next time we can make it to Alaska.

The actual home cooked meal is what I really miss. This is the place to get it. Service is great and they really like to make sure your coffee is full.

Good, homey feeling. Service was excellent and can't think of any complaints. I had an omlete and hash browns which were how I like them, crispy.

My husband and I learned about this local eatery from a surgical nurse last year as a place she would go once she finished her shift. We have revisited nearly every time we're in Anchorage. On the 13th of Sept, a Friday I had just completed a medical test and was going to fly out mid-morning, so I stopped in alone. I was immediately greeted by a local couple; a night shift nurse and her retired Col. husband. You know who you are!! They invited me to their table and even paid for the corned beef omlette, my favorite. That's the kind of atmosphere this place invites: kindness. Not just from their staff but from their patrons. Pass it on.

Loved the food and service. I would definitely recommend chicken omelette and crispy chicken salad. Fries were little salty for my liking but overall very tasty food. Very friendly staff.
