Ordered a mocha between 5-5:30 (08/05/25 iced. Barista claimed i didn't say iced and was distracted by my phone. The person on my phone heard me say iced. When I asked if I could get it iced i was told no and only if I paid again, they didnt even bother making eye contact when addressing my questions. They threw the hot one out and kept my money. Don't go hear, there are non franchise coffee shops that show professionalism throughout anchorage.
The grocery store itself on the other hand is good. Ive found their staff to be modest and respectful

I am an outdoor working person who comes to use the restroom and get lunch or coffee and pastries for breaks when working that side of town. A great place to sit and take a break, out of the rain. Little grocery store in the building. Take advantage of the same day refills on coffee, this perk is often overlooked.
The coffee shop portion is just coffee and sweets as far as I know, but the little store surrounding it has many options for anything you'd want to eat, including soup and salad bar, Deli hot foods, Chinese lunch foods, calzones, fancy desserts, candy, chips, drinks, fruit, breads, etc. Prices seem high in the grocery store but they probably have to pay high rent being so close to downtown. I once paid about $9 for a dozen eggs here.

It's my neighborhood kaladi and it's a good little market
Yesterday (May 22, 2024) around 1:30 PM I got an oatmilk latte, and the woman with the gold, round glasses and long braided hair made me the PERFECT latte. Kalaidi Brothers should definitely give her a raise.

Hidden Gem with Delicious CoffeeThis place is a fantastic find! The coffee is delicious and affordable, especially considering the high quality. They clearly use great beans and their brewing methods are on point. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was inviting. I'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu!
