I just started frequenting this establishment and I love their spicy sweet chai. I'm sorry to hear about your safety and homeless issues which is causing you to move. This location was very convenient for me and others who enjoyed having something hot while waiting for the bus. You do what you gotta do to stay thriving. I will find you wherever you move so I can continue to enjoy your smiling greeting staff that starts my day the way I like it.

I walked in yesterday morning turned around and walked straight out. What a creepy place. Homeless zombies inside and on the sidewalk. 2 robots behind the counter working with reluctance. Overall it just looked like a bad place to start the day.

Stopped here for breakfast our first morning in Anchorage for a latte and breakfast burrito. Both were worth eating and the staff was very friendly. I'd be back if we were staying more than one night.

Good coffee and friendly staff. However, the restroom is “out of order.” Judging by the bus stop across the street and some of the clientele I’m guessing they just don’t want people using the restroom.

This is the Canadian version of Starbucks. Owned and operated by locals, this is s good choice for coffee and light meals. There are several branches around town .Lots of seating available, and friendly service. The toasted breakfast burrito was delicious! There’s a huge selection of sweet and savoury options. Good coffee too, and all the teas are loose-leaf tea - excellent quality.

I was expecting better service and coffee. The staff acted like brain dead and they had the poor cashier making this or that and not concentrating on the cash. Others were just around mostly gossiping. And after big wait due to this, for a not so great cup of coffee and bagel. Sorry will not return
My traveling partner and I were looking for a good cup of coffee and a sandwich. Kaladi's had a 'Starbucks' kind of vibe, but without the attitude. My friend got a great dark roast drip coffee, and a wonderful sticky bun. I got a prepackaged sandwich which was delicious. This little shop is worth a stop!

Great coffee shop in downtown Anchorage. It has a very metro and modern vibe. They serve coffee that is roasted locally. They have a variety of baked items, espresso, drip, and pour over. They offered both a medium and dark roast. I had a medium roast pour over, it was full bodied, lightly acidic with some nice bright fruity notes. The store was clean the staff was friendly, definitely worth a try.

I am into coffee. I have a diploma as a barista from the SCA in Florence/Italy. So I love to travel and hunt for good coffees. I asked the lady at the airport arrival where I should go. She told me: Kaladi Brothers. So it was my first thing to do in Anchorage. I ordered an espresso, a cappuccino and a sandwich. The coffee was completly burnt. I mean the roast was way too dark and the girl who prepared the coffee had no idea how to use the machine. They are using a La Marzocco - but have no idea to operate this wonderful peace of coffee culture. The cappuccino was also not good. The milk was too hot and burnt - so was the shot. Impossible to drink without sugar. And maybe this is the point. Americans drink way more added (and sugared) flavors and add way more sugar to the coffee. There is no chance to get your coffee in a real cup - even if you want to drink inhouse. Only disposable cups with plastic lids. The sandwich was greasy but OK. Nothing special. Will I come here again? For sure not. They just sell a bitter liquid - they don't understand coffee.
