I think "God ramen" sums this up perfectly. Seriously don't miss this place. Spicy tonkotsu ramen is easily my favorite. Recommend the spice on the side haha.

I love Tonkotsu ramen so had to try Tonkotsu ramen at Kami Ramen. The broth was authentic, chashu was delicious as well! Noodles were cooked right. My guess is that Japanese people who live in Anchorage/Alaska believe Kami Ramen is one of the very few ramen houses that serve authentic Japanese ramen in the State. We will stop by again. Thank you for the delicious bowls of ramen ?

Excellent ramen restaurant, my family comes here all the time! The ramen is delicious, the fun drinks with boba are tasty and sweet, it’s got a great fun atmosphere and the food comes fairly quickly!
Small ramen shop. It got super busy when we were there but our ramen came out fast and was pretty good. The servers were attentive and on point. I would definitely check it out for anyone that hasn't or anyone that is going to Anchorage.

Lived in Anchorage nearly 24 years, and lived in Japan back in 2008. So far, Kami Ramen is the closest I've had to authentic Japanese ramen in Alaska.Vegetarian options: I think there was one veggie ramen option on the menu, which happened to be the one I ordered. Protein source was fried tofu, topped with a marinated egg slice. But you could probably ask the staff to hold the egg if you don't want it.
