Great food and service. I highly recommend the gumbo! Best in Alaska. My friends and I had our 1920s dinner party here and had a fabulous experience!

We always enjoy our meal at Kincaid Grill. We live close by, but it is worth the drive from farther away.
Fantastic restaurant for date night, special events, treating visiting family and friends to Alaska. Have eaten here many times and am never disappointed. Seafood heavy menu but lots of other options as well.
On our first trip to Anchorage we felt lucky to have hit upon this gem. Great food and service.
This was one of our least satisfying meals during our Alaska trip. The food was quite expensive but didn’t live up to expectations at all. The ribeye had a lot of tough sinew and was less enjoyable than what I cooked at home. The oysters lacked the natural sweetness we had at other places, and several of us felt a bit unwell afterward. Overall, we were disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this place.

I have been to Kincaid Grill many times over several years and have never been disappointed. They consistently do an outstanding job. Kincaid Grill continues to be my favorite restaurant in Anchorage!
Kincaid Grill offers a refined dining experience with a menu that’s creative, well-executed in parts, and slightly uneven in others.
We started with the Pork Belly Appetizer, which was a standout. The texture was spot-on. Crisp exterior, tender interior, and the combination of hot honey glaze, crispy polenta, frisée & fennel, and pickled red onion created a perfectly balanced bite. This dish set the tone for what we hoped would be an exceptional meal.
The Seafood Fusion dish was bold and beautifully composed with king crab and lemongrass-infused coconut milk bringing vibrant, aromatic depth. The only out-of-place element was the shrimp-mushroom wonton, which felt like an odd fit with the rest of the flavors.
The Roasted Alaskan Oysters, though technically from the Pacific Northwest, were large, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Another highlight was the Black Cod, glazed with miso and paired with sesame-ginger scallion. It was silky, rich, and expertly cooked, easily one of the top dishes of the evening.
Unfortunately, not everything hit the mark. The Alaskan Halibut was underwhelming, bland and lacking acidity or punch, especially compared to the more dynamic dishes on the table. The Gumbo also failed to impress; it felt flat and one-note.
On the dessert front, the Crème Brûlée was standard fare, nothing wrong with it, just nothing special. The Cookies & Cream Semifreddo, however, was a fun and satisfying end to the meal, with a creamy, nostalgic sweetness that elevated it above the typical dessert offerings.
All in all, Kincaid Grill delivers a thoughtful menu with a few standout dishes that are well worth trying. While not every plate was a hit, the highs were truly memorable and show the kitchen’s potential when everything clicks.

Suggest hostess not seat guests at table next to kitchen when many others are available. We asked and she seated us at another table. An outstanding culinary experience. A ‘must experience' when in anchorage. Thx to all.

Our favorite place to dine in Anchorage! The food is fresh and delicious. The staff is courteous helpful and always on point. Generous portions. Oysters might be the best in Anchorage. Always a treat.
We were very impressed and grateful for the considerations given to our group of 4 adults and one 21 month old. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us! Super kind and polite! This is not easy when dining in an elegant atmosphere with a boisterous toddler. We just hope that we didn't disturb the other guests making their experience negative.

Wow. I was extremely surprised by everything I tasted. Fresh soup, clams, bread, salmon, halibut. My wife kept talking about the salmon all week. The small menu and location made me hesitate but the comments were reassuring and this ended up being one of the best meals I have ever had. Definitely my number one dinner spot recommendation in AK.
