This restaurant never disappoints. Food is consistently well prepared and always tastes great. Staff is courteous and friendly. Atmosphere, especially in the chef's room, is tasteful and peaceful. My favorite Anchorage restaurant.

Kincaid grill is a true Anchorage treasure. It makes Anchorage a better place. I found it interesting after dining there with a friend. He was inspired to pick up his own cooking game.

Wonderful as always! You're our favorite restaurant here in Anchorage. Only minor complaint was that we were seated next to the window and it was very chilly due to the extremely cold weather we were having.

As always amazing service from the moment we walked in the door to the moment we walked out. The food is excellent. The atmosphere is wonderful, not noisy and you can have a conversation. This is by far our favorite restaurant in town.

If I could give 100 stars for service, I absolutely would!
Ms. Kim, you are a gem. You made my husband’s birthday truly special with your genuine care, deep knowledge of food and wine pairing, and your kindness and patience with all our questions—especially from wine novices like us.
I also want to thank the gentleman who greeted and seated us (I’m so sorry I forgot your name!)—you were wonderful, attentive, polite, and made us feel so welcome. The service overall was top-notch.
The food and wine pairing were exceptional, and Ms. Kim explained everything beautifully, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.
This place is truly a hidden gem of the Southside, can’t wait to come back again and again!

This meal was really special. It’s tucked away in a strip mall, but don’t let that fool you—everything about the experience feels first-class from the moment you call to make a reservation. The staff’s warmth, attentiveness, and precision remind me of fine-dining service you’d expect from a Michelin-level restaurant.

Even the small details stand out. The utensils are designed for right- and left-handed diners, the bread service includes multiple varieties (and they happily let me try all three), and our server knew the menu inside and out.

I ordered the Parmesan-crusted halibut, and it was fantastic—by far the best I’ve had in Anchorage. I’ve tried similar dishes at Glacier Brewhouse and Orso, but Kincaid’s version wins on both flavor and presentation. The oyster casino appetizer was another highlight: Alaskan oysters baked under a crispy Parmesan crust with just the right touch of bacon.

For dessert, I tried the port-infused chocolate pudding, and it was as rich and interesting as it sounds. They offer several creative desserts, many with a subtle splash of liqueur.

The portions are generous, the atmosphere relaxed yet elegant, and it’s clearly a place where people come to celebrate—nearly every table had a birthday or anniversary candle glowing. It’s easy to see why Kincaid Grill has remained an Anchorage favorite for so many years.

My only feedback is that I hope they will consider adding a shellfish with carbs options (scallops with risotto, crab cakes etc). While scallops nicoise is unique, I prefer a more starchy carb to pair the protein with. Also add a few dishes that are more risky, I feel the menu plays it overall safe, although I understand that's what the local crowd likely wants.

It doesn't look like a high end restaurant from the outside. They have special menu for the day that is not listed on the menu.

Reservation is needed but if there's available table, they will take you in.

Their complimentary breads were amazing.

The food was PERFECT. The waitress, Andrea, was amazing and knew everything. It was not cheap by any means, but it was 100% worth.

We went to celebrate our engagement. They were great when they mentioned it at the beginning of dinner “we'll take great care of you” Server was sweet but overwhelmed. Couple reminders and dinner progressed slowly. They offered bread.....we got to choose 1 piece each from an offering of 4 different kinds. Weird. Would've liked bread with my soup. Food was outstanding. Soup and salad we shared was fantastic and unique. We each had the filet and that was delicious. Cooked wonderfully. Overall a great meal.

Our waitress, Drea, was absolutely fabulous. Very knowledgeable about the wine list and the menu. Would absolutely go back. All the staff is incredibly nice and they don't let your water hit empty or let a dirty dish sit. They are on it here. Great food as well. Best halibut we've ever had.

Another great dinner here. My wife and I love this place. They are very accommodating to her allergy needs. It's spendy, but the food is amazing and the service is great. A great place for an occasional date night.
