My husband and I fell in love with the Chocolate Paradise Cake years ago and it's been a birthday tradition ever since. It's a bit spendy, yes, but it's a gourmet bakery and you get what you pay for. Our daughter got the raspberry chocolate one for her birthday and she said there's no going back to sheet cake. I definitely recommend treating yourself to a slice...I guarantee you'll walk out with a whole cake they're just that incredible!*I also recommend the Mongolian beef combo for a quick lunch, paid $11 but the serving sizes of meat and rice were HUGE, so much so it was more than enough for my lunch and ate the rest for dinner so worked out.

Great coffee and OK pastries at a bakery inside a small market with a wide selection of take out meals and an interesting variety of local and international products.
I guess I rated L'aroma two stars in the past. Anyways, I don't remember why, and that's in the past. We enjoy L'aroma almost weekly.
Can there be something done about the smell, or is it normal.
This salad costs around $10 for what? Way too many croutons to throw away because they are soft. Leave them off or make them separate. How much chicken is on it… not much. It was purchased from a Kaladi’s two days prior to the sale by date. I’m thankful that this “green salad” is green however do not feel like it’s something I’d ever buy again unless there’s changes.
I've loved New Sagaya's pizzas and bread sticks for years, decades even! My grandma used to take me and my brothers in all the time for grocery shopping.Unfortunately, I've never thought I would give them one star over this. I hope this was amalgation of things gone wrong or the pandemic stretched their budgets thin, but this, to call it cheese bread sticks is an embarrassmentDon't have the time to take it back as we were on lunch but I hope you guys see this and try and revitalize the old goodness you guys really can doI'm throwing this out
Unfortunately, I never got any service. I walked in hoping for a nice display, but noticed the pasties were all picked over abd and the case was extremely messy. Next I walk over to the deli area thinking maybe I will get a pizza or sandwich. The lady with brown hair and ponytail braid looks at me, makes eye contact and not only, does not ask if I need help, but she actually walked away from me. Walks to the hot food section, circles around to the area again and I figured ok, maybe she didn't see me so I walk back and again she makes eye contact with me, no smile at all and then turns to speak with the gentleman making hot food. I was done. Something was off and I walked out. Too bad too as I was walking out I heard her calling, "Tom, your order is ready". Very disappointed in the appearance and lack of customer service.n
Very cute restaurant located in the Anchorage area. Great place to talk with friends and coworkers during late morning hangouts. I had the Chai Tea Latte and it was very sweet—but there are more strong options to have as well.
Another fine L'aroma bakery/deli. This is a great little neighborhood "walk to" establishment. Being co-located with New Sagaya City Market is great.
