Thanks to the owners response to my previous review, I decided to delete it and post a new one with a higher rating. I did misread the board, but instead of correcting me, I was just told it was an old board, which led me to believe that I wasn't getting food I was supposed to.
Miscommunication can be rough sometimes.
Food was delicious and I would like to try it again when they are fully open with everything in stock.

My favorite spot to go and get a Poke bowl. My favorite is the Ahi Taegu spicy bowl Hands Down?

I respect it… kinda.. idk.. if youve ever had a good poke bowl from somewhere in the lower 48, then the bowls here wont please you. 22 dollars for a meal that i honestly had a hard time eating. There was hardly any sauce on the fish, and i found myself diggin for rice cause the flavor of the fish was just not there. Ugh.
The only reason there is color besides the tuna and 3 edamame in this photo is because I put soy sauce on the rice. no flavor at all. Literally tastes like chopped up tuna and rice. No seasoning or anything! It’s definitely edible and it won’t break the bank. just Meh. Honestly $16 at BK is better spent. Won’t be back. To the owner I say good luck and god speed.

Yum. My first time here and I just got a small spicy tuna with mayo. Delicious! I’m happy to find this place, happy that Anchorage has a great choice for poke.

They are the best in town. Family business family owned and the most amazing customer service.Their poke is the best in town, just like Hawaii...We do not go anywhere for poke. Lei's poke is the best and you will not regret it..

Hands down the BEST poke in town!
Mayo poke tastes like sandwich mayo and fish. Was supposed to come with a side, was told it was all in there, wasn't. Nothing but pone and rice scoop. There was a good portion of fish compared to other shops however. I liked da hawaiian poke that my daughter got. Low stars for not giving sides/ advertised toppings, and quality of my bowl. Hula hands has cheaper and better poke ( their other food isnt great though).

Best place in town to get poke!
(PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR MY REPLY TO OWNER THIS IS A PUBLIC HEALTH ISSUE) Safety concern… Hate to complain because the service was very friendly and the poke tasted good! But I think I should warn both the business and the public that when I ate at your food truck in June (I ordered salmon poke, which is one of my favorite foods) I developed horrible food poisoning around 6 to 7 hours after eating. I also am positive it was this restaurant as my husband ate everything I ate that day except poke and he was fine. Really put a damper on our honeymoon when I was throwing up whole bits of furikake every 30 minutes for 8 hours lol. But you guys should very much investigate your food safety practices.
Editing as to reply to store owner: Let’s see: I ordered “Da Hawaiian” from your menu board, I remember specifically because I ordered alongside it a pineapple flavored Hawaiian drink to go with. I assumed the red muscled fish was salmon, my bad. But seeing as though either my cereal from the continental breakfast at my hotel or the raw fish consumed at your food truck are the only options that could have given me horrible food poisoning and stomach cramps, I’m going to go with you guys.
