The food tasted good. The presentation and service was so-so. The staff was very nice, just inexperienced. Did not know how to open a beer. Almost threw it in the floor trying to open it. It overflowed of coarse, but did not offer to bring a fresh one.They brought water to the table, but did not offer to pour it in the glass. The salad came out after the main coarse. Busy little restaurant off the beaten path. Basically tucked in a neighborhood off Abbott. But definitely a place Locals know about. Saw Bob Lester & his family while we were here. Small menu but plenty of choices of traditional favorites. Fresh produce which is very important for me. Even the croutons were good. Obviously house made and Delish! The food was excellent, the wait staff was top notch and very friendly, atmosphere was very friendly and neighborly. This has become our family's go to place more and more often.
