“I’m a traveller from Australia and we don’t have any places like these any more due to legislation re smoking etc.

I specifically came here to have a smoke in comfort, indoors and meet some of the locals who were friendly and engaging.

“The food had good taste and flavor, and the bartender was friendly and had good recommendations. The atmosphere was chill and just what was needed after a Monday-like-Tuesday, I'll be returning again in the future :)

Technical notes: Food came in a timely manner, attentive staff, and the venue offered a relaxing atmosphere where the music wasn't too loud but just loud enough for general conversation. Utilities were clean and well kept.“

“The Alaska Lounge at ANC is a great place to wait for a flight, especially if you can snag a seat by the floor-to-ceiling windows. The views of the tarmac against the Chugach Mountains are easily the highlight of the space, definitely some of the best airport views I’ve seen.

The Good:

Atmosphere: The central fireplace gives it a warm, lodge-like feel that fits the Alaska vibe perfectly.

Seating: There are decent seating options throughout, from workstations to lounge chairs. It’s generally easy to find a spot to plug in and relax.

Room for Improvement:

Food: The food selection is a bit basic. While the snacks and soups are okay, it could definitely use more substantial hot food options or a bit more variety to match the quality of Alaska’s newer lounges in other cities.

Overall, it’s a comfortable, quiet refuge from the main terminal. Just don't come expecting a full gourmet meal!“

“Looking at the previous reviews I was a little concerned but the meal, service, and atmosphere were top notch. Was able to grab a table right away and did not take long for Natasa to take our drink order. Lots of beer on tap to choose from plus many other drink options . I had the halibut and fries which were excellent and my wife really enjoyed her salmon. Not sure what they put in the cole slaw but I want the recipe . If you want a great restaurant to end your stay in Alaska this is it. If you want a cool place to hang out in Alaska and watch the floatplanes, this is also it.“
