Lucky Market is truly a deeply hidden gem just off the airport on Artic in Anchorage.. Quaint little Asian Supermarket with a well hidden deli (2 meats & rice or noodles Asian Style) in the back left corner. Those ladies are either the sweetest you ever met or the rudest youâll meet but either way they are going to PILE HIGH a plate of food that even a sumo wrestler couldnât finish in one sitting. Donât miss the noodles or the pork belly or youâll regret it. Too it with the sausage and grab some chopsticks. $16 gets you 2-3 meals worth of food even if youâre a heavy eater. I work month on / month off in Anchorage and always hit them up before I go home. They have ruined food for me in Alabama and the only thing I want while Iâm home is their deep fried pork belly. If youâre passing through Anchorage this is one of those âlocal experiences must stopsâ youâve been looking for. Grab a plate and head over to Lake Hood Seaplane Base just down the road and enjoy your meal while watching the planes come and go.

Many of the products here are expired â be careful! I bought dumplings and some other food from this store, and only realized after getting home that they were past the expiration date. I ended up getting sick and had diarrhea after eating them. I hope the store improves their quality control and stops selling expired food. Customersâ health should come first!

i love the store, but the old woman in the back where the cooked foods at she's so rude, so disrespectful.
Nice clean place with nice selection. I like the food in their buffet service, but they have three people standing behind the counter with only one slow lady, on the register and dishing food, who acts like she's too busy minding her own business to ask you what you want. Not sure why they don't want me to get food there...

I always get halo halo everytime I visit this store once a month. But the last time I paid extra. Only to get a whole bunch of banana on the bottom and green soft balls. It was disgusting and a waste of my money. It usually has the coconut jelly and jack fruit too. None of that was in it. I was disappointed and threw it away.
