Just had a Mammoth Cheesesteak for the first time. WOW! So dang good!
Excellent phillies and awesome service. The quality is superb and service is great as well. The pepper steak is my favorite— nice n spicy! Hush puppies are my favorite side
Bomb food and love the guys working the truck! Def recommend if you're in the area.
Amazing melt in your mouth cheesesteaks. Yum! Always friendly service.
Cannot get enough of these! The bread is perfectly soft and the meat is super tender. Lots of flavor and I always add candied jalapeños because it SLAPS!
Service was great, the sandwich- bum was fresh, but the meat filling and vegetables were minimal. Looked nothing like what's being advertised. Waste of $18.
At Mammoth Cheesesteak, the lunch experience was a delightful, unapologetic indulgence in hearty, comfort-driven cuisine, where bold flavors met classic cheesesteak tradition with a clever twist.
The Mammoth, their flagship offering, was served with provolone, its mild sharpness balancing the richness of the ingredients. The choice to sub out bell peppers for candied jalapeños was inspired, adding not only a spicy kick but also a layer of sweetness that danced against the savory notes of the steak. The jalapeños’ candied edge brought complexity, taming their heat while enhancing the sandwich with a bright pop of flavor, which elevated the dish from predictable to memorable.
The steak itself was tender, generously portioned, and seared to perfection, delivering that signature melt-in-your-mouth experience you expect from a premium cheesesteak. The fresh, crusty roll held everything together well, maintaining its integrity despite the abundance of fillings—no soggy bread to be found here.
In sum, Mammoth Cheesesteak delivers on its promise of bold, satisfying comfort food, and the customized addition of candied jalapeños turned a classic into something exceptional. A must-visit for anyone seeking a flavorful, casual lunch in a laid-back setting.
Noah was so nice and kind. I am from Philly and he gave me a cheesesteak on the house to try. Hands down best cheesesteak in Alaska. Tastes just like our hometown steak. Must try!!
Awesome service, great food. I love their hush puppies!

Awesome People serving amazing Phillies!
Just had some hush puppies with honey and a OG Philly out at Girdwood brewery. Guys working were super nice and food came out fast-
Was glad to finally find a cheesesteak in Anchorage that does not use swiss or mozzarella cheese. Option of provolone or cheez whiz is in line with the east coast, which popularized the sandwich. My only complaint would be the overly salty taste, perhaps mine was over seasoned. The fries are good and useful to clean up steak scraps that fall to your plate. FYI, this is a food truck and you should check the calendar on their website to verify where they will be located.
Top teir cheese steak. Tried it with the cheese cheeswiz and was pleasantly surprised.
Also the cheese curds were the best I've ever had. Some sort of garlic parm in the breading
Literally the best cheesesteaks in all of Alaska. I am from the Philly area and these cheesesteaks reminds me of Pats. I will always go out of my way to get them when I can!
These cheesesteak's slap you right in the face with bold flavor and succulent meat candy. Hands down the best cheesesteak in Anchorage. Highly recommend you stalk this truck and fulfill your life happiness. 😋😍🙃
