I don’t go in for takeout but if I do then it’s through the drive through not take out. That’s what annoys me most when I go in to eat. It seems like everyone at the register assumes that I order takeout. What is the point for me if I go in. It’s to dine in not takeout… annoying when have to tell them for a tray.

I likely eat at McDonalds way more than I should. As such, I’ve been to many, if not most, of the locations in Anchorage. This location is by far my favorite. They make the effort to put the food together in a way that shows not just competence but a work ethic that is hard to find. The staff has always been unfailingly polite even when I show up during busy times.
Specifically I was having a very rough day in the middle of October and just needed something to eat. It was my first time in quite sometime ordering at this location on Old Seward near Dimond mall, and I expect much the same as other locations. Lopsided sandwich, cold limp fries and my drink lid to be barely on.
It might sound absurd to say, but these things not being true really made my day. It was such a small thing but really affected me. I had to go in and tell one of the employees thank you. They seemed surprised that they should be thanked, but also happy that they were acknowledged.
So to the people working at this location, thank you again. It’s a small thing, but preparing people’s food without complaint and in good spirits I can’t imagine is always easy.

Stupid girl in the drive thru kept giggling and not hearing me so when I got annoyed from having to repeat myself she reacted and I just so happened to get fries without salt. Never ordering here again

I was going to comment the place wasn't very clean, but right after dropping off my food they started addressing the situation. The food itself was pretty good and everything I special ordered was correct. Hot fries were definitely a bonus these days, so well done for that. They also appropriately filled the fry containers like they used to, so it was a pretty good experience.
Great place for when other public restrooms are too far away🫢😯

Morning manager has an attitude and doesn't take responsibility when her staff screws up. Receipt printer at drive thru is so bad it can't be read. Does not want to honor the survey rewards.

Fries were fresh and it wasnt too busy. Our food wasnt just slapped together like at so many locations so thay was nice. The people working the voice and handling the food didnt talk super audibly but other than that it was good.

I go here because the kids enjoy microplastics, I guess. Def not an everyday food and not something I would choose... but when you have teenage taste buds it's must have. (*the food ratings are the kids).
It's clean inside and sometimes the staff is a mature person who knows how to smile and greet customers. 😃
