This is by far the ABSOLUTE BEST MCDONALD'S IN ANCHORAGE! The food is fresh, juicy, employees are customer service extraordinaires! Every time they go above & beyond! This is a LOCALLY OWNED franchise! I truly hope the owner sees this!

Nothing is inexpensive these days, even the lowly Happy Meal and Big Mac. But one does expect at least warm food when paying just shy of $40 for three meals. So when the fries were lukewarm, I went in and politely asked for some fresher fries. The young lady who replaced them dumped the new fries in a bag then dramatically dropped them on the counter in front of me, presumably for daring to ask for edible product. She turned in a huff and then giggled with a colleague at her “rebellious” (wildly immature) act. Knowing my Irish proclivities, I instead left rather than say what I was feeling, and reduced the anger and disgust I felt to these words. I would have asked for a manager, but I think she WAS the manager. And this isn’t even to mention the young, long-silver-haired girl who was being straddled by a male coworker while retrieving someone else’s food. Poor performance all around. Do I expect anything to change? No-service has become pathetic in the last few years. But I couldn’t remain silent at such blatant disrespect which I assume would be a concern of the owner’s. Maybe not. People will keep shoveling it in. And though I know it makes no difference, I may too, just never again at the McDonald’s on Huffman.

We had a good experience on 3/24/25 @ around 3:30, with fast and friendly service. The manager was present at all times, and the staff was getting orders out quickly. The restaurant was one of the cleanest I've seen, every table that wasn't occupied was clean. Bathrooms were clean as well. This will be our new McDonald's spot in Anchorage from now on.

Multiple times I have given the wrong order. Ordered a Denali and got a Big Mac, went back to counter and told them their mistake. The teenage girl making the burgers gave me a look like she undersized my meat patties intentionally.
