From the outside this restaurant didn't look like much. Even inside the dining room was fairly simple. However, the noodles and the soups were excellent. They were tasty and at a nice amount of heat in their recipe.

Every town I visit, no matter how big or small, I always try the local Chinese restaurant. This place is the gold standard. Every restaurant should try to be like this place. There is so much flavor, variety quality, and creativity with the dishes. I got the hot and spicy beef and chick fried rice. Wowwww great job Mei’s!

Bright and vibrant. Very cute inside, we just stopped in for pick up. I got the spicy beef soup with rice, and let me tell you! Wow... that medium spicey is REALLY nice! I was concerned because my stomach had been sensitive to spice dishes lately, and while this is a really good breathing to cool your mouth to try and cool it level of spice, I'm happy to belly didn't over react! Absolutely love it! Husband got the Spicy Beef and Rice and that was also really tasty! Looking forward to exploring more of the menu!

Fantastic, freshly prepared, delicious food. There are a few vegetarian options: crispy pancake, veggie egg rolls, several tofu dishes, egg fried rice. Do not be deterred by the Spartan interior and modest surroundings. It's super clean, and the staff are welcoming and helpful.

I doordashed their 5 spice beef noodle soup. OMG perhaps the best soup I’ve had in anchorage. Will seriously dream about this. Also really appreciate that the noodles and veggies come separately because the broth has more than enough for two servings.

When I walked in, the lady at the counter called me the N-word. Very observant. I will be returning. The food was delicious other than this one dumpling that had green mold in it! I ate it anyways though. Also, the atmosphere is really warm and welcoming! I just wish the staff wouldn’t stare at you all the time.

After a long, cold day, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here. The spicy beef broth was incredibly flavorful and comforting. The chicken curry was also excellent. I can confidently say this is some of the most flavor-rich Asian cooking I've experienced in the US. I'm surprised this place isn't busier; it's truly a hidden gem!
