The food was the most worst food I ever had. The chips were stale due to being on the table for however long who knows.

They have some of the best food we have had in town. Family run place, very nice workers and the food was amazing! Their mole’ is on point and the lengua is literally the best I have ever had.

Pretty good Carne Asada, especially for Alaska. The Portions could be a little bigger, but no complaints at all. In the few times I have been here, it has always been quiet, and service is very quick.

The lunch buffet is back and as yummy as ever! I’ve been a fan of Mexico in Alaska since the mid-80s. Great food, great service, wonderful owner. Try it!
I got the veggie burrito and I was only beans! No veggies, tiny bit of cheese on top and it was the smallest burrito I've ever gotten. I wasn't too impressed with this place.

I stopped by Mexico in Alaska to buy their homemade tortillas. When I got home I realized they gave me store bought tortillas (looks like one of the bags from the huge Costco pack)! Why wouldn’t they just say they’re out? This was very deceptive. I have no idea if they’re making their own tortillas anymore, but I don’t recommend going to find out!

Oh my gosh I found my new favorite Mexican place. The food was not TexMex, but authentic Mexican, which in this case is elegant. The BEST SALSAS. Their menu had some unusual offerings you can't find elsewhere. Got a super cheese fix with the queso (no processed cheese here) and the lamb tacos. The soundtrack was orchestral 1960 cocktail hour music.I felt as if I were in a Marilyn Monroe movie. The service was excellent. They had so many interesting, authentic dishes on their menu that I will come back again and again, plus they had migrating mariposas on the side of the building. So beautiful Oh yeah plus drank a gigantic wine margarita absolutely delicious!

Finally went back since I was a kid and we thought we were satisfied. Wife ordered Pollo Fundido and I Carnitas. Upon arrival the water and salsa were on the table as others experienced this and we didn't think much of it. The food came out and we ate. 6hrs later we both woke up with food borne illness/poisoning symptoms. Fevers, stomach cramps, vomiting and diarrhea. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.
