Breakfast was cooked to order and reasonably priced. Place had two sit down tables. Small gem.

I work in the downtown area and frequently eat out for breakfast and lunch. I have been a loyal patron to Midnight Sun for many years, today that officially ends. From poor management, inconsistent quality and service over years I think it is time for me to throw in the towel. At this point I truly don't believe they are even making an effort, they just cash in on the fact that they're one of the only 'grab and go' cafes downtown. Good luck getting anything you order with consistent quality, and heaven forbid you need it in a timely manner. What's even crazier is that it doesn't matter whether or not you order online or call it. It is absolutely appalling and I will not be giving them another dime of my money.

Avocado toast was $9 for a small slice of bread with 3 slices of avocado. Coffee was mediocre. Fast service though.

A short 10 minute walk our hotel. Angry Flying Pig on croissant was delicious. My hard to please husband enjoyed every bite of his sandwich! Would highly recommend! Thanks from your Idaho visiting customers!

I can not say anything but great things about Midnight Sun Cafe. We, like other visitors, had first tried a different popular breakfast spot but which had hour+ long wait time. And for us, we did not want to wait that long. So we popped into this cafe. Its no frills serving good food, and good coffee. Service was really attentive. And sometimes you make a new friend. We met a lady that was on her way to exercise the YMCA. She shared some stories with us about living in Anchorage.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast sandwich to go. Took almost 30 minutes to get it and then they gave me the wrong order. Also the local Art they used to display is gone, walls are empty. Plants are all dead. Sad to see how far it’s gone downhill in the last few years.

We were in the neighborhood to check out Anchorage Museum and stopped by for late lunch. Lots of vegetarian options, food was very flavorful and fresh. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommend.

Went for lunch. Prices were high for what you get. Sandwiches and panini were average. Service was average at best.
Not really sure what type of music it was that was playing was way too loud.
Eat-in area was nothing more than a few simple tables and chairs and the place needed cleaning. Maybe they do more takeout. Will not return and do not recommend.

We waited so long for our food. They need more workers. The place is dark and needs better lighting.

Great attitude/service/food. Perfect spot to get a quick satisfying meal before a cruise. 2+blocks away from Egan Center.
