Roasted street corn chipotle steak tacos were fan-tas-tic. I would have taken a pic, but they were too good and I already ate it all. Happened upon their truck outside Double Shovel. Perfect. ??

if you haven't been here yet you NEED to go. Not only is the food delicious and freshly made, but all of the menu items when I visited were gluten-free! It's hard enough to find a diverse selection of foods in Anchorage, but if you want reasonably priced some delicious foods, this is one of my top recommendations. The food truck was super cute, and I ordered "whatever your favorites are, but white-girl spicy." The owner was gracious enough to tell me that everyone has different spice levels and I conceded that my digestive system is often in distress so I asked for the least amount of spice possible. As we waited, we sipped our horchata. It was a chilly winter day, but we didn't mind the iced drink while we browsed the open market outside of Double Shovel. The mountain pupusa was so fresh, delicious and filling. I was able to eat about a third of it and save the rest for later, with the added bonus that it felt nutritious and made with love. The eloté was quite honestly the highlight of my day, tangy and zippy with flavors. This place made my little foodie heart so happy, especially during a time when my dietary options were so limited.

I had heard about this truck when I arrived for work 3 months back. Finally caught it in Girdwood. Line was long, and so was the wait for food, which is a positive thing when the product is quality. Mountain pupusa was spot on, complete with escabeche and fire. Having grown up in metro DC, around Salvadorans, I know a good pupusa. This place is doing it right. I hope to try the pork diablada and elote next time!

Simply amazing! Everything is gluten free and so fresh! Amazing owners and they have a very consistent product. Service is always top notch and they frequent many of the local breweries and cider tasting spots in Anchorage. Can not give more favorable recommendations for a food truck in the greater Anchorage area!

This place is awesome! The food is amazing. Full of fun flavors! The food is extremely well cooked and everything tastes fresh and made from scratch. The portions are gigantic! I wish I lived closer cause I would frequent this place all the time! If you are in anchorage and this place is around check it out!!! You will not be disappointed.

Love this food truck. Found them today at Double Shovel Cider. I LOVE the diblatos. The staff is always positive and fun. They play fun music out of their truck. I've also seen them at Girdwood Brewing.

Ordered at the food truck and it took 40 minutes to receive the chicken dobladas. The food was not worth the wait.

Just ate here at their Girdwood Brewing setup and it’s phenomenal! Got the veggie pupusa, carne asada pupusa and their daily special: pulled pork, bacon wrapped, cheese stuffed jalapeño street tacos- so good! This is my new favorite place to eat.

My husband and I have been wanting to try Mochileros all summer. We finally caught up with their truck. We ordered 2 orders of asada tacos, we were asked if we wanted them spicy and replied yes! There were no prices listed on the menus and was not sure what my card was charged for our purchase that included an 18% gratuity. We were told it would be about a half an hour wait and that we would get a call when ready. We waited 50 minutes to get our food. We were so hungry we couldn't wait to try our tacos. The presentation was great and it looked so tasty. It came with a little cup of taco sauce, side of black beans and some chips. I took a bite and tasted no flavor or spiciness. I tried the sauce and that tasted like tomato soup. The black beans were the best part of the meal.We were extremely disappointed to wait for almost an hour for $40 tacos that were lacking flavor or spice.
