I walked throughout downtown anchorage looking for a breakfast place . I finally found Moose A la Mode. Fabulous find. Very helpful staff. Coconut green tea was worth the taste. Thank you Chloe for the recommendation . A must try restaurant

This was my first time visiting Moose A'La Mode in Anchorage, Alaska, and I found this cafe simply by searching on Google for a top recommendation. Upon entering the cafe, you see a large menu of items. I wanted to try reindeer sausage for the first time as it is popular in Alaska, and opted to try it in the Denali Burrito. I also ordered a latte with a peanut butter flavour shot. Overall, the portion size of the burrito was good and actually rather large, as the pricing was a little on the expensive side for a burrito which came with nothing on the side. I did not enjoy the burrito and only had less than half of it, I found it to be greasy and quite salty, with no special flavour or wow factor. The latte was also okay, nothing special that was a must try at this cafe. The service was great though. The atmosphere of the cafe could definitely use some work in terms of cleanliness and keeping things tidy and appealing for customers dining in. Thanks

Came here for breakfast. Ordered the omlette with raindeer sausage. It was was delicious though a bit too salty. Also ordered Breve. The beans certainly were burned and the coffee tasted burned. The service was fantastic. The place has ok ambiance but needs a good cleaning, tidying up, and renovation. Decent street parking around.

As locals, sometimes you are just looking for a hot bite and you aren’t willing to wait across the street. We got the Stacker within 5 minutes, and it hit the spot. We thought it was a good price for value, considering what’s normal these days. Service was kind and personable!

Here is the most convenient location to the courts and to be there is to be able to get a drink.

I ordered the jalapeño popper panini, and it was delicious. The sandwich has bacon, pickled jalapeños, tomatoes, and pepper jack and cream cheeses. It tasted great, the service was friendly, and I spent less than $20 for a filling meal. I'll be back again!

Avocado toast... for the $12 I got an extremely dry slice of toast with some cubed avocado, halved cherry tomatoes & a small bit of alfalfa. No detectable seasoning. This is not "bomb street food."

Everywhere else was packed and we stumbled upon this place and were pleasantly surprised. Would come back

We ordered via Uber Eats: turkey bacon pesto sandwich, denali burrito, the stacker with everything bagel and sauge, another stacker with bacon and avocado melt sandwich. Everything tasted very good. The turkey sandwich and burrito stand out.
Service is rated lower because we got brioche buns instead of bagels, and the boxes were not labelled.

I ordered the Bobrock omelet and it def didn’t disappoint! It’s hearty and delicious and for sure a meal big enough to share with your friends. Yum! 10 outta 10 recommend!
I'm a spicy guy, but they need to warn folks about the magnitude of their spicy sauce. I ordered what could have been an epic breakfast burrito, and was given the option of no salsa, mild salsa, and spicy salsa. I managed to eat part of the breakfast burrito, but it was an exercise in suffering - suffering that revisited me that evening and throughout the following day. I asked the girl behind that counter what was put in the burrito - turns out it was a scorpion pepper/Carolina reaper hot sauce.
I hope to give these folks another try, but on mild next time.
