I really want to try this place, I live across town and I work until 4:30 everyday. Drove across town to visit for the first time and was going to pick up a dozen latkes or blintzes to surprise a friend for Hanukkah who hasn't been able to celebrate at all this year due to work travel. They closed at 1430 due to the snow :( I understand this weather is terrible! But I think this business generally doesn't have great hours considering hardworkin folks who don't have the flexibility in their positions to visit a business as amazing as this one seems in the far corner of the city. They should be open about one hour after the end of the average workday (~5pm/6pm) so they can catch the crowd that are tied to their desks all day! No idea how the food is, but I hope I can try it :) I'm going to try and struggle through making latkes for the first time tonight excited to learn! Sad to have driven across town for nothing.

Best brisket sandwich ever! The meat was moist and tender and sandwich was so tasty! Best thing I ate in Anchorage while on vacation. I went back the last day of my stay for a repeat because I couldn't stop thinking about how good it was! Good teamwork with polite employees and the shop was super clean. I would eat there all the time if I lived in Anchorage. Great quality for dollars spent. This shop should be on everyone's list as a place to not miss.

The food was so delicious! The staff was friendly and took the time to just talk story with us for a few minutes without it seeming like it was a chore for them to converse with a random patron. I highly recommend the smoked brisket sandwich with everything on it (except for olive, no thank you) and a cup of the beef and barley soup.

I’m maxing out my review for one single reason, the beef dip. I can only speak on this since it’s the only thing I order from here but by God, if this is a childhood staple for you from the lower 48 it doesn’t get any better than mo’s. The jus is salty , the bread holds its structure and the beef is thin and moist , 10/10 have been raving this place to anyone who will listen (the crunch on the house made pickles is unmatched)

I was really excited to come here because I was SOOO hungry. The last time I came here I remember my sandwich and beef barley soup being ? The customer service was just ok, I asked for no condiments on my sandwich (I was the only customer) and they still put condiments on my sandwich. The roast beef tasted lifeless (I should have gone to subway). The beef barley soup lacked flavor and tasted like it’s been sitting for numerous hours (almost like it was significantly over cooked). Maybe I just caught them at a bad time or on a bad day, but due to this experience, I won’t be coming here again (I wish I could return the meal and get my money back). The environment is really nice though.

Great little place! Very busy on a weekday morning but the line moved quickly and the staff was super friendly. The menu was a nice change from the typical breakfast fare. We tried a little of everything. The bagel with lox was wonderful, blintzes as well. My boys devoured their breakfast sandwiches with pastrami, and insisted we come back again next time we're in town.

Where has this place been on my radar?Being a sandwich fan, I have tried most Anchorage shops, but failed to hit MO's. My mistake! Queried YELP for a Pastrami Sandwich and up pops MO's deli. I thought, ok give them a try. I will definitely be back to this establishment. I'm a Pastrami and Reuben fan and theirs are great. Sandwich comes with large dill pickle. They have salads, soups and several sandwiches and bagels. I'll be back to try some of the other offerings as the Pastrami was fantastic.
