I ordered Mongolian beef. Mongolian beef was under cooked and didn’t taste like Mongolian beef. Their fried rice was watery too. Will never eat here again. Must be new owners. Also, a lot of kids running around.
I really wanted to like this place! Our order arrived looking nothing like the menu photos online and I ordered chicken lo mein by itself and was delivered chicken chop suey with a side of white rice. I can tell as a chef that corners are being cut! You shouldn’t offer a dish if you’re just going to slice up some premade BBQ pork and toss it in a sauce with some vegetables. I know you’re small and family owned but honestly… that meal was not worth the $98 I paid for it!!! I feel ripped off more than anything… bad business & a pure shame!!!

Ordered delivery from here recently and it took over an hour and a half to arrive. The delivery person blamed the person taking orders, said they had given them the wrong address and phone number. The food was cold when it got here. The mongolian beef was decent, but the szechuan chicken was way too sweet and not at all spicy. Very disappointed overall and will look elsewhere for chinese food in the future.

My dad & I stopped here & it's a nice place!
Plenty of seating & booths.
The menu is built into the tables which i thought was really cool.
The front doors were cool too.
Lots of things to order on their menu.
We ordered our food and it didn't take but 10 min to get it which was awesome.
The food was fresh & hot and the quanity was great for the price.
I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken Spicy.
Will definitely stop by again, next time I'm their neck of the woods and we're craving good Chinese cuisine.

My husband and I went here on a whim and it did not disappoint! I do not know how this Jewel is so hidden.
Northern China Restaurant hands down has the best Chinese food in Anchorage!!
The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The space is clean and open. The service is wonderful. Prices are average. Our food was brought out to us in a timely manner. Our food was on point! We ordered the Crab Rangoon, Mongolian Beef and Sesame combo, and the Braised Shimp and Szechuan Chicken combo to share and sample multiple dishes. It was filling and delicious with enough food to take home. As I was there I was already texting my people telling them about this great place! Knowing that it's a family owned restaurant makes it that much better.

We will drive across town just to eat Northern China. Our food always comes out hot. The staff are friendly. The atmosphere is a bit outdated but clean.

For whatever reason, the food has really gone down hill! Their was a time, a few years ago when it couldn't be beat! The foods are dry and very little of it! But the Water is good!

My son was there and had dinner and an ordered two meals to go with an egg drop soup and when he got Home and started eating the food that he had bought to go. The soup was terrible and when we had called the restaurant to let them know they blew us off and told us that nobody else complained
They hung up on me so I called back and talked to the manager and she said again everything was fine and she doesn't understand why I was complaining. I told her twice that I had been going there for years and I was just letting her know that the soup is terrible and they needed to make sure that it wasn't for anybody else that was going to drink it and she reassured me that there was nothing wrong with it to begin with.
