While the service was outstanding, it took quite a while to get our food. The cost of the meals was a bit on the high side but not terribly so.
Everything was great but... wish our drinks could've came out faster. My brother and I were waiting for our beers, and the appetizer almost arrived before our drinks we ordered.
Our waiter was very attentive. Our food was plentiful and very good. I'll dine there again with my very special wife.
The main dish was AMAZING. We got two appetizers and they were just ok for our palate. The pistachio cake was AMAZING.
Waited really long time to order and then for the food. We ordered king crab legs and ribeye. Ribeye was charred and not good. The mashed potatoes were great. Dessert was ok. We ordered the tiramisu and pistachio cake. They were alright. Would not be back.
Our dinner at ORSO was wonderful. We enjoyed the halibut, caprese salad and crab cakes. David was our server and was friendly and efficient, assisted us by decanting our wine and timing courses perfectly. I highly recommend Orso for their food and service. We will come again whenever in Anchorage.
The choices were abundant. It was difficult to choose. I love my steak and seafood, so I decided on the Ribeye with the crab stuffed shrimp. It was delicious! The staff was great, and Dayton was extremely friendly. I look forward to returning to try something different.
Had reservations at opening with the request to be seated away from the Kitchen. The host seats us at first table by the entrance, next to the kitchen in the empty restaurant, as there was no waiter available at the requested section. (Offered open seating in lounge area)the table we requested was given to the next guests arriving shortly after!

The waiter actually asked me if I was Celiac and that's why I was ordering gluten-free! He said they took extra precautions. I had the Tuscan Fettuccine Alfredo. Did not get sick. Delicious! Seems like it's best to have a reservation when you go here.
Dietary restrictions: Seems great for gluten-free.

Never a disappointment for service, taste and presentation and we loved our observation for two in the main dining area. Special touch with the card as well!

Great for dessert, drinks, and a fine dining experience. I've never had a bad or unsatisfactory meal here in all the years I've been going.
Dietary restrictions: Do have a few vegetarian and gluten free options.

It was a good find in Anchorage. My real gripe was charging me $20.00 for a antipasto and when I asked for some bread I was told I needed to order the bread appetizer.
App,salad with a skewer of swordfish and an order of halibut. $93.00.
Couldn't spare a piece of bread.

As always, the food was excellent at Orso. It was a bit noisy, but that's pretty normal. Because they were so busy, I didn't see our waiter as much as I thought we should. I don't think that's his fault, I think it's just because the place is packed. my steak was absolutely perfect.
I've have been to Orso numerous times over many years going back to 2007. Always a great dinning experience! Staff is super friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable with the menu, wine and beer selections. Food is always fresh, well prepared, and delicious. Desserts are fantastic, the Risotto Creme Brule is my favorite and get it every time. I'll be back again as soon as business takes me back to Anchorage!
It was me and my boyfriend's anniversary and they wrote us a card and gave us a free dessert with happy anniversary written on it. Super good service everyone was really nice!!
