Let's see, this places strength is the price for sure. Can comfortably eat well for 20$. However you get what you pay for I decided to get a quesidilla which was tolerable but little over priced for an appetizer. And my meal of an enchilada and chimichanga with rice n bean, Greta portion but the beef was just hamburger meat with great value taco seasoning as for my enchilada the chicken was bland and washed out flavor wise. The beans were nothing to write home about and the rice hard like it was made a few days ago.
The short answer if your trying to each for cheap why not, if you have some more money to spend go somewhere else.

Best in town so far. Great salsa, my typical Mexican restaurant good rating requirement. Nice ambiance. Flautas were my favorite of our meal.

Read the reviews and was hopeful for a nice dinner. My husband and I ordered one chicken and beef burrito. The chicken was obviously canned, it was quite bland and still had the distinctive slimy texture and aftertaste found in a just cracked can. The ground beef tasted strongly of liver and was similarly unappealing. The rice and beans were nothing special. In all, not remotely worth the $43 total we spent.
A shame because the building was very nicely decorated and the service was fast and friendly. Maybe their other food is worth the time and money, but I won't be finding out.

This is the first true authentic Mexican restaurant that I found and dined at in the two weeks that I've been in Anchorage, Alaska and coming from San Francisco where there's a rich cornucopia of authentic Mexican cuisine including food, trucks and taquerias. This made me really happy because I got a chicken quesadilla suiza that had the right amount of spices and extra melted queso and shredded chicken. I needed to hit that spot of contentment for cheese lovers like me
;) and the mild spicy and super spicy salsas are perfect, especially the super spicy which was habanero mmm
Authentic & cozy
