When first walking in, I should have known to turn around. It smelled like an old folks home. More like dirty furniture that hasn’t been cleaned. The food was meh, my husband had a basic breakfast and a side of eggs, not sure what they used for eggs but they were disgusting. I had the chicken and waffles which was not great. The waffle was dry and seemed undone and the chicken was not well seasoned.I would not return as the best thing was the mimosa.

Amazing place. Wonderful menu with something for everyone. Attentive service. My honey/habanero chicken was absolutely delicious. My wife loved her beet salad with added steak. The steak was delicious. Highly recommend

After being dropped off for a one hour lunch before continuing on a motor coach to Denali, we found Humpy's the most visible restaurant very crowed so we took a walk and spotted Pangea. Had a great lunch - our waiter understood our need to get in and out and not miss our bus. I had their version of a Philly Cheese Steak - watch out Philadelphia - this one was better.

First timers. We went in for Lunch and loved everything. Service was on point. Muenster burger was amazing, Thai crispy chicken sandwich was perfection. Chef Pat is an Alaskan treasure. Can’t wait to come back for dinner. 5 stars

I haven't had a bad experience at Pangea. This trip was by far the best tasting though. Who would have thought that Sriracha, vanilla ice cream, and maple syrup went with hand breaded chicken strips.

Amazing food and service. Really neat place in the middle of Anchorage. Our waiter described their menu as all of their "all star" items. It is constantly updated - removing unordered items and replacing with new favorites. Brunch was awesome. I had the chicken and waffles. These had a perfect mix of sweet and spicy with a scoop of ice cream on top. Would definitely recommend and go back. Family had French Toast w/ homemade jam, classic breakfast, and a taco pita. All great choices. Oh, and amazing service.

Vibrant, rich flavors, delightful variety, pillowey-soft bread (made in-house) and delicious break from the ordinary.Son and I got Schwarma beef*his as sandwich with yucca chips*mine as gyro topped with pickled purple onion, tomatoes and feta cheese. That spoon in the center holds a "don't miss" pepper-blend "harissa sauce" that will make your tastebuds sing.A side of Halibut chowder that was the best I've ever tried.Other son got a burger with fries and husband got a cashew-crusted Halibut sandwich. He said it was quite good.Everything so clean and pleasant, got to chat with the head chef Pat, a great guy - and it shows in his work. If we ever come back to Anchorage we'd love to eat here again.

I highly recommend Pangea for a relaxing, delicious, and enjoyable meal while in downtown. The food was out of this world and so creative. We kept ordering more dishes! All the wait staff were so friendly, professional, and pleasant too. We are going to go back every day!

Ate here on Father's Day at brunch time. Half of tables were occupied and Pangea was indicating 45 minute waits. We managed to get our table just ahead of the need for a wait. The service was very slow. At one point, our waiter was serving as greeter, server, and bartender. Food was good, but not great.

The food and service were exceptional! Prices were not outrageous. Most expensive entrée was $36. The pita dishes were devoured and the fries were great! I highly recommend this restaurant!!!

Went for lunch after we scanned the menu and noticed a collection of dishes from around the world, i.e., Middle East, Vietnam, Thailand, Greece, America, Alaska, and Mexico. They offer breakfast and lunch including salads, soups, sandwiches, and small plates. It's almost like going to a tapas restaurant. Enjoyed the banana cashew halibut tacos, bao bun thai crispy chicken, and chicken wings. Flavors and sauces ere very tasty. They offer new dishes occasionally, when the chef and owners want to be ore creative. Also offer gluten free menu options.

They have a menu full of food you won’t find anywhere else. It’s all unique and pretty good! Pictured are the Schwarma Buns that had steak and a puffy dough bun. If you’re looking for somewhere different for a change, give it a try.

We had a 7:30 reservation on a Saturday. Only one person appeared to be serving and there were two large parties, in addition to several small ones. It took 15 minutes to get a second round of drinks and waiter didn’t even check with everyone to see if they wanted a second drink. The pork belly was tender, but not flavorful. The halibut and steak tacos were dry. The steak shawarma was good, but the hummus seemed unnecessary. Maybe things would’ve been better on a better staffed night.

Tried going here with Donald around 9 15pm and the sign said closs at 10. We were told they are getting ready to close. We both native. That racist prejudice blonde guy had turned us away. I've never been so discriminated against like this I my entire life! Natives be aware of this racist prejudice place!

Perfect location and great food! This is quickly becoming my fav restaurant. I had the banana cashew crusted halibut taco and wowza! Amazing flavor! My husband got the bistro steak and it was cooked perfectly. We had a blonde with ice cream for desert and it was beautifully presented. The service was great and it’s right across from town square so the location was perfect.
