Do the baristas roast the beans for each customer?? The KGB Perkup has an average wait time of half and hour or more. The sign on the window (when you finally get to it that is) says be patient… I get it but the reason people go up to drive ups is to get their coffee and go-

For several years Perk-Up was my go to for consistent quality. Lately, the customer service rarely includes any friendliness. I have ordered the same mocha since I discovered them, and nowadays it’s hit or miss. Today it tastes like hot milk. Last time it wasn’t filled to the top, ripping me off two ounces without whipped cream. Steadily getting worse. Done wasting money here.

Pulled into the drive through Perk Up on Potter and C St. To get a quick cool refreshing drink only to set for over 7mins while staff opted to have their lunch, gab with their friend in the vehicle in front of me about their newly shaved hair cut, and never produce a drink for said friend. I have frequented this establishment several times and this is a recurring situation where no one is making drinks or food to keep the flow of customers moving. Instead their is maybe one person making something while the other worker/ers walk around chatting. I will not return and will not recommend this location for sure. I really hope management sees this review and truly does something to improve the experience at this location.

I am Alaskan native and the worker made me feel very unwelcomed. Made it very obvious that she was talking about myself and my friend to her coworker. I did place my order. But after her rude attitude I just left. Because what is the point of going if the workers aren't going to be welcoming and doing they damn jobs as baristas. I get u got ur own thoughts and opinions but when u work in such a field you should have professionalism. I do not recommend this place. She was rolling her eyes at us and when I asked about flavors she was just unprofessional about it all. It's too early for this. End racism!!!

I highly recommend this place - I have not once had poor service or bad products here.
The service is quick, and the drinks are on point. On top of this, the staff is always warm and friendly, and they genuinely seem to be enjoying their work as well as interacting with customers.
Special shout-out to Rivers, whose creativity and outgoing personality have made me a regular customer!

Was bummer was only one truck but took almost 14 mins to make one drink, no lines on the other side with plenty of help inside now I think I understand the lines now, had to try this place but it regular spot is in and out!
My original review is below. Things have gone down hill. Girls we short and standoffish with me. Ordered one of their specials. Lotus drink called love spell. What I received was flavored club soda no lotus. Tons of liquid on the lid and she handed to me and it went everywhere.good coffee and the girls are normally nice!

Hands down the best neon red bull!! And always so pretty staff is really nice they smile and they say you're welcome when you thank them..... it's kind of a breath of fresh air for Anchorage customer service. I never understand why so many people in this town work a job where they have to interact with the public if they just don't like people...I mean you can get jobs that don't require any customer service skills whatsoever. These girls should go train people random drive by training lol.

They have a line often and I finally decided to stop here for a coffee for my boyfriend and surprise him by bringing it to his work. I wasn’t gonna try the drink myself so I waited for him to tell me his thoughts before reviewing; so he said it was still hot but drinkable and the flavor was great and he could taste the caramel. So I will be back again.The wait was about 10 mins, i was third in line. There seems to always be three cars on both sides just about every time I drive past.Prices were good compared to other coffee shops.Service was great the girls were so friendly, fast, & knowledgeable. They made conversation naturally while serving me which I like.
