“We found this restaurant by accident. Our mom and aunt wanted pasta, but they wanted to be somewhere quiet. My brother googled and found this place. At first we thought we were at the wrong address since we didn’t see a sign. But we peaked in and we were met by the owner who asked us to take a seat. Service was fast, the food was amazing! And talk about a great salad bar with everything you would want on a salad with house made dressings. Everyone in the family ordered something different, from a mushroom burger to spaghetti and Greek pizza. The servings were so generous two people could eat or you will have leftovers. Oh, and we were even introduced to the owners daughter. It was a nice evening and has quickly become one of our favorite places to eat.“

“Nina, the owner was kind enough to set up a special tea party for me and my out of town guest. Her shop has a large selection of loose leaf teas and it was busy in there but she was patient and helped us find something we liked, even offering us a sample of their house tea. The tea sandwiches were flavorful and delicate. The doughnuts were so good!!! There’s so much to see in this little shop and plenty of delicious treats. I will be back!“

The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and beautifully decorated they really went all out to make it feel special. The balloon display and themed setup made it perfect for photos and added such a fun, festive touch. The paint night itself was fantastic. The instructions were easy to follow, making it enjoyable for both kids and adults. It was so much fun creating our own artwork while enjoying delicious ice cream. The staff was friendly, patient, and encouraging, making everyone feel comfortable and creative. And of course, the food was incredible flavorful, and the perfect treat while painting! 🍦 If you’re looking for a fun family activity, girls’ night out, or a creative date idea, I highly recommend their paint night. “Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Atmosphere: 10/10 The sushi rolls were huge, raw fish wasn’t smelly, entrees were big including the kids plate (bento style). I found the prices very fair especially comparing them to Basil Ginger in the valley. We didn’t order a single roll over $20 and our favorite cooked one (spider) was only $15. The restaurant was pretty packed yet our food came out surprisingly fast for how many people were dining in. The waitress was on FIRE. Running around making sure everyone was good. She also gave us dessert at the end for free. Maybe it’s a thing but we were highly flattered and appreciative! It was great to eat at a clean establishment that also checked allll the other boxes too. My kids and I got up to leave and both noted “this place deserves a shining review!”. Highly recommend 🙂“

“I was excited to try Xalos after reading all of the positive reviews. My California burrito tasted good but the carne asada was pretty tough and some of the listed ingredients were hard to find.

I was also let down when I learned that you cannot customize your burrito at all and they don't have a salsa bar. How can you serve chips without salsa and then charge $6 for a small side of salsa? 🙄

I'll come back some time to try the birria tacos... but I'll probably stick to Qdoba or Taco King next time I'm looking for a burrito.“
