“Nina, the owner was kind enough to set up a special tea party for me and my out of town guest. Her shop has a large selection of loose leaf teas and it was busy in there but she was patient and helped us find something we liked, even offering us a sample of their house tea. The tea sandwiches were flavorful and delicate. The doughnuts were so good!!! There’s so much to see in this little shop and plenty of delicious treats. I will be back!“
“Lee, Buck and Sarah all took great care of us last night (and every time we drop in). The brews are always great and diverse in flavor and options. That’s one of the things I love most about RR is that they’ve got something for everyone. Whether you love stouts, IPA’s pilsners, mead, or even crave a good N/A option…. They have it!! “A great restaurant when in Anchorage! I know everyone raves about Moose's Tooth but, I would go to Hearth over the crowded and busy atmosphere of Moose's Tooth. Selection was great, service was super friendly and no wait time!“
“I asked for a recommendation for my son. It was something with lamb, at 8 in their 1-10 scale for heat. He LOVED it. My daughter and I loved the butter chicken at a 3. The naan is so soft, fluffy and warm that it tasted like cuddling. Definitely going again.“

They didn’t have any gluten free beers for my friend, but plenty of cocktails and other drinks.“

“First, I have to say that the owner is one of the friendliest people ever. He was consistently checking in, chatting, and making sure that we had a good experience. My husband joked that he came all the way to Alaska for a Chicago dog, but it was on the menu. I thought the fries were great. We almost skipped over this place but it was one of the best deals and experiences eating in Anchorage.“

“We didn't eat, so can't rate, but the food we saw looked amazing. Our bartender was great, he made us feel right at home (tall guy with a beard from Florida) sorry can't remember his name. “We always always ALWAYS get Tiki Pete's whenever we are lucky enough to see them or work an event they are also at! the Tiki Burger is one of the best burgers, and I am critical about my burgers! “A great little spot with coffee, food, and wine and beer (and cider, my personal fave)— just my kind of atmosphere! Plus, I can sit outside too with my pup, still under cover from the building. And did I mention that there is You Beauty salon in the back? I absolutely adore that I can swing through and take a beverage with me to my hair appointment— makes it all even sweeter!“

“We found this restaurant by accident. Our mom and aunt wanted pasta, but they wanted to be somewhere quiet. My brother googled and found this place. At first we thought we were at the wrong address since we didn’t see a sign. But we peaked in and we were met by the owner who asked us to take a seat. Service was fast, the food was amazing! And talk about a great salad bar with everything you would want on a salad with house made dressings. Everyone in the family ordered something different, from a mushroom burger to spaghetti and Greek pizza. The servings were so generous two people could eat or you will have leftovers. Oh, and we were even introduced to the owners daughter. It was a nice evening and has quickly become one of our favorite places to eat.“
