the service from the people here was awful. Not welcoming or pleasant. Didn’t get water until we got our food served. The bamboo duck noodle pho soup was bland, and the quality of the soup was not as much as it was worth( 22.99 for 4 pieces of meat and a little bit of noodles…..) the lady cleaning the tables was yelling across the restaurant, slamming the dishes and the server didn’t come by to check or ask about food and no refill for water? such a disappointment for an establishment with food and service barely up to par. GO to phonatik or Siam for better food and services.

Had to wait over 30 minutes past the time told me for my food to be ready. Drove all the way home to find they didn’t include a dish I ordered. Restaurant did nothing to make it right

Food tastes like any combination of artificial sauces you might find at store, vinegary and sweet. Service is garbage, if you’re thinking bout going, dont

pho was good but did not even matter considering pad thai sucked and the working lady's attitude sucked. i dont like leaving bad reviews, but when you go out of your way to be rude to me and my toddler for absolutley no reason and then charge $24 for a sour distasteful, pad thai, then i will.
My rating on service is because, Id never been there and I needed more time to read over the menue so I sat around for a long time waiting to get my order taken but not the worst.
Couldn't decide between, pho, curry or sandwhich. Knocked it off the table quick but I almost said Mongolian beef bc that's always a good review worthy item to compare if it's on the menue. I bet it's bomb there tbh.. The curry smelled amazing but I wanted a really expensive bowl of curry and I was like let's just wait. But I immidetly picked the crab cheese wonton.
There was no crab? Idk if was good but for 12$.. I love the chives / scallions inside. They were great. They were crispy. They didn't really have anything special to them in flavor. I liked they weren't to sweet but yeah nothing really here as far as flavor.
Now for the 13$ sandwich... It's the size of my hand... This was sad. I immidiantly regretted that lol. As for the flavor. It was beef flavored. Im convinced there probably really good at making beef and I will go back for the pho. The vetables were bland no sauce nor pickled. Bonus points for being made in house. Finally the Jasmin tea. I have nothing to say about it. Idk how test functions but it didn't have any flavor. I've had plenty of tea in my life just don't get how sometimes it's flavorful. I've forgotten with this tea. It's strange.
Alright, I next with the positives. The floor and restaurant overall was spotless. I actually took the time to look around. I didn't see the bathroom. I will be returning to this restaurant to try that, try pho.... I really want to justify trying the duck. I'm a little worried I'll get a couple days sat duck. Idk why because I don't know where else to get one. Ive only ever bought duck from hight trafficked supermarkets. I'm sure they're busy but Idk.
One last completely ignorable suggestion would be to scre the booths to the wall and lv the tables.

We sat for 30 minutes before anyone talked to us and in that time span another, bigger table had their order taken before us even though they had gotten here 12 minutes after we did. When it was approaching the 40 minutes of waiting we politely told the staff we were ready to order to which we were told “Yeah okay hang on one second!” in a very rude manor. It is understandable when restaurants are busy that staff will not be able to attend to you right away but to be completely blown off for almost an hour is wild, especially considering larger parties who sat down after us were taken care of almost immediately.
Took forever to get our orders taken and no water for 30+ minuets. Terrible service would not recommend.

I was really disappointed with my experience here. I placed a pickup order, but it took much longer than expected, and the interaction during pickup felt rushed and unfriendly. Unfortunately, the pho itself didn’t make up for it—the broth was quite bland, and my order was missing some of the standard toppings. For $18.99 for a single serving, I expected much better quality and attention to detail. I wouldn’t mind paying a higher price if the food and service matched it, but this fell short.

Pho Dimond is tucked into a shopping plaza and has earned a regular spot in my Anchorage pho rotation (especially as a good pre or post Costco Shopping stop).
The broth is the main reason to return. It’s clean, nourishing, and always served properly hot. While it may not be the best pho broth in town, it’s dependable and satisfying. The usual pho accompaniments can be hit or miss depending on the day. Sometimes you’ll get the full setup with bean sprouts, cilantro, Thai basil, rough-cut jalapeños, and lime, and other times it’s a more limited spread.
I’ve worked my way through several pho variations here, and consistency is the strength. The broth stays steady, and they never skimp on either the proteins or the noodles, which goes a long way in making each bowl feel like solid value.
On weekends, the roasted duck is worth noting. When it’s available, it’s a good local option and tends to sell out, so timing matters.
After a recent trip to Vietnam, I was curious to see how they handled dishes like bánh xèo and bún bò Huế. While I didn’t expect them to rival top versions in Ho Chi Minh City or Huế, I had hoped they might hold their own. Unfortunately, those dishes didn’t quite land for me so I’ll stick to ordering pho for now.
At the end of the day, this is a very clean, family-run restaurant, originally from the Ho Chi Minh area, with the husband and wife handling most of the operation themselves. The service is simple and genuine, rooted in Vietnamese dining culture rather than Westernized service standards (table service but pay at counter when ready to head out). If you’re looking for consistent pho with generous portions in Anchorage, Pho Dimond remains a dependable choice.

Pho was mediocre, PHOnatik isn't too far from here and your wait time will be far more worth it there than here. I honestly saw people paying for pick up orders and sitting and waiting. I also saw people go up to order and not be acknowledged and walk out. They are not very welcoming nor did they check on me at all and I pretty much needed to grab condiments or napkins myself. Do not recommend.
