On our camper adventure from Mexico City to Alaska we had to stop in Anchorage twice. The first time we decided to go to Pho Lena because we read a lot of good reviews and it was the best decision. It was my first time trying pho and I was amazed about the flavor and the texture. The best word to describe it: really comfort food! The sauces and the peanuts are really good, but the pho is AMAZING! The waiter recommended us the one with beef and meatballs. The second time was when we came back to Mexico and we had such a great time with pho again. The waiter remembered us and he was really kind. I could eat at this place forever!

Went to order pad thai to go for and was disappointed the way it was presented, and served, I waited 20 minutes for pad thai, and they did not pack the forks or napkins with the pad thai, the dish looked nothing like pad thai, tasted nothing like it, it smelt like sweaty socks, and the fact that the place looks unsanitary and depressing, I will not be coming back to this place!

Great Pho/Thai restaurant!!! Their prices are very reasonable. Their $12.99 lunch specials are a great deal!
Take out order. Pad Thai was powdery. Artificial taste. Chicken was stringy and dry. Did not finish and did not save for later. Ck fried rice was bland and mostly rice. Chicken was stringy and dry. Portion sizes were plenty but unfortunately did not taste good enough to save.

Food was so good, we went twice. It was fresh and service was great the second time. First time was just ok. We ordered, and as soon as our food came we got our servers attention and requested kindly if whenever they had a moment, to please ring in another order of potstickers. It was acknowledged but then it never happened and we didn’t see them again. Someone else filled our waters and we got up to pay on our own. We understand it gets busy but as servers ourselves, it was just something we noticed. It didn’t deter us from coming back. And it won’t in the future when we visit again. Still recommend!

Really disappointed immediately when the lady came to take our order. Her behavior was extremely rude and whatever we were asking she replied with angrily. We didn't deserve this type of behavior from this restaurant. We came to this restaurant for the first time from another state and received with this type of behavior. I'm no more interested to know about the food quality. Don't recommend this restaurant at Anchorage downtown area to anyone.
