I go here for Pho over every other place in Anchorage, everytime I'm in Anchorage. I've tried 5 or 6 other restaurants but non for me are as good as Pho Lotus. A nice salty, savory, slightly spiced broth. If you like more of a spiced flavored broth this might not be the place for you, but for me it's by far the best and all the workers are very sweet and kind.

We had just come out of the bush for a moose hunt, so I was craving Tom ka gai soup like crazy and the crab rangoon also sounded good. The rangoons were among the best I have ever had, but the soup had zero galangal or lemongrass flavor, none. It was disappointing as those flavors are critical for Tom ka gai, so I'm not sure if this was an outlier batch.
We wanted a quiet place for a reunion dinner so we tried Pho Lotus for the first time tonight. It was nice and quiet. The service was outstanding. We were greeted immediately and got water within 30 seconds of being seated. Our server showed up to take our orders less than two minutes later. The food came out surprisingly quickly. Everybody was very happy with their food and the portions were big enough to provide another meal the next day. We will definitely be back.

I can understand being busy on a Sunday evening. But waiting 10+ minutes at the counter just to be greeted is one thing. An additional wait as my pick up order wasn’t even started until I interjected self into the queue. Sure hope this papaya salad is worth almost 20 wasted minutes of my life.

I ordered the Pad kee Mao (drunken noodles) to go. It was ready when they said it would be, and the taste of the noodles and sauce was delicious! I will say, though, that opening the box was a bit disappointing ? I wish there was more, but it hit the spot.

This place is always a pleasure to eat at. The staff are always friendly. And the pho is the BEST in anchorage. My boyfriend and I always make sure to stop in when we travel thru anchorage, because they're that good! I hope they never close!!!!
