I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but our experience at Pho Vietnam #8 was disappointing. The food was mediocre, but what really stood out was the poor service, especially from the owner.
My daughter’s order was mistaken, and though she hadn’t touched the dish, she politely asked for it to be corrected. Instead of handling it professionally, the owner was rude and insisted she eat what was brought out, even though it wasn’t what she ordered.
We also initially asked to sit in a quieter area near the back for more privacy, but the owner redirected us to a table by the window with a view of the busy street. Moments later, other customers were seated exactly where we’d asked to sit.
Overall, the experience felt unwelcoming and dismissive. I would not recommend dining here.

Ordered Doordash and waited about an hour of dashers canceling just to find out it was because the store was closed. It says on here you open at 10 but I guess not, please fix this.

I ordered delivery a few days ago and my God it was pretty bad. Especially the pork bun. Wtf was that? The First photo is the pork bun I got at pho vietnam, the second is the one I usually get from pho lena. What do you even put in that bun? It has no flavor, the random veggies were so weird.
Aside from the pork bun, the BBQ chicken and rice - the meat was DRY. after picking it apart and eating what was edible, I was left with a huge pile of dry meat.
The fresh rolls weren't very fresh. Also had tiny little shrimps.
Just go to pho lena (spenard location) for fresh ingredients. This place charges too much and uses cheap ingredients.

Came in for a warm bowl of pho and that’s what I got which was surprising. Eggrolls came out quick and were room temperature, and the pho was soggy/greasy.

I ordered the tofu banh mi and it was legitimately, without a doubt the best food I have ever had in my entire life. So good that I felt compelled to leave a review. I would recommend this restaurant if you love good food!

The food was ok. It was a bit more expensive than other places I've been to in Anchorage. I'd have to say that I won't be returning here. The broth smelled and tasted funny. Can't put my finger on it.
The staff were kind of rude, and the inside needs a lot of work.
I'll be going back to Ray's. Better prices, warmer atmosphere, and amazing staff.
