We went late on a Sunday night and were the only customers for the whole last hour. I know they were closing but we never once felt rushed or made to feel as if we couldn't sit, eat and enjoy ourselves. In fact, it was my niece's birthday and they impromptu played Happy Birthday and delivered flan to the table as we finished our meal. It was super generous- not to mention the best flan I've had here in Anchorage. The host was very helpful with questions and a couple food sensitivity issues we have. Their portions were well balanced based on the cost - which was also very affordable. All in all, a really enjoyable meal and experience. We will return!

The food is good, but the service was not. The bartender was very nice, but the service was just not there. They forgot my drink, we had to search for the salsas because they weren't at our table. It's hard to know where to sit. People put jackets over chairs to save them. The soft drinks were outrageously over priced.

Georgous flavors, always fresh, and the meats are juicy and lush every time. The falvor range and complexity are perfectly balanced. Unless you work in the area, it's not in the most convenient place, but it is absolutely worth the drive.

Ordered street corn with macha sauce and it didn't have any.. also got a La lucha Libre pounder burrito with melted cheese crust also didn't have any... I could understand one thing missing but two on the same order seems intentional 😕 won't eat from them again. Maybe they just spend time looking at the artwork, not the tickets of peoples orders... so lame

Phenomenal! If you’re looking for something that is more authentic and actually has flavor here in Alaska this is the spot. Reminds me of the tacos I would get in Rosarito or Ensenada. Amazing!!!

You can call me a regular. I live in kenai and pretty much every time I’m in Anchorage, I stop by and eat here. I love real Mexican food no gringo style. I enjoy visiting with the owner you will often see him checking on customers or helping out his staff.
Very good tacos. They make their own tortillas. Very good soups and quesadillass.
They make their own salsa that have a good taste. Even the mild has some kick

This is by far the most authentic and delicious Mexican food in Anchorage! When you eat THEIR beans and rice, you can tell it was made by hand with love, not out of a sysco can like nostalgia places in Anchorage. It is a little pricey, but it's worth every penny
