I have lived here my entire life and had never ventured downtown to try this place. I will become a regular! Food was fantastic! The Eddie's Trropical was delicious! Very nice experience for me!
Excellent service and food! They were able to accommodate our very large party with multiple tables for my birthday, yet still provide prompt and enjoyable service. Love this restaurant and will be back! Thank you!

Food is predictably creative and fun, but the real joy is in the cocktail menu. With the competition from Whiskey & Ramen, Spenard Roadhouse, and Crush, local bars have stepped up their game and T61 certainly will not be left behind. Great tequilas and mezcal, creatively poured and perfectly presented! Don't believe me? Order a Sneaky Pete without checking reading the menu for spoilers.

This was our first time to Tequila 61. For appetizers we got the calimari and goat cheese balls. For our entrees we got the rock fish tacos and carne asada tacos. My wife got an orange Julius and I got a spicy margarita. Both drinks were excellent. The appetizers were both really good. The tacos were good as well. Good flavor profiles, very well cooked. Though to be honest, the carne asada tacos at Taco King are still hands down the best in town and a fair bit cheaper. They brought out our entrees at the same time as our appetizers. This was really annoying. It's nice to have some time between the two, plus there's no room on the table for all the food. I ordered rice and beans with my tacos. They never arrived and we were charged for two orders. They quickly fixed our bill with no problems. All in all, the food is excellent and there are a couple items we want to go back to try. The food is also pretty expensive. Service is excellent. There were some kinks that should have been worked out by now. Especially the lack of time between apps and entrees.

This was my first experience at Tequila 61. The place is absolutely stunning and our waiter Millie was the absolute sweetest ever. I think it would have been best to stick to the drinks as the name of the restaurant suggests. The shareable was delicious but the actual main dish the tacos were pretty basic. The plating was beautiful but for the price it was not worth it. I would have been better off going to Xalos and getting my money's worth. I would absolutely go back to try the flights, but I would not go back for the entrees. Overall great first experience. The staff were very nice, welcoming, and hard working.

The experience I had at Tequila 61 was incredible. The interior is designed comfortable and modern. The staff were pleasant and attentive. Our order came out quickly and was delicious. I highly recommend the goat ball appetizer and fettuccine. I would order them again in a heartbeat. I will definitely be back, and with friends!

I had not eaten here for a while. The food was excellent. Our server was very good. I did think that they may have needed more servers given the volume of people in the restaurant last night and how wait staff were dashing about. As with many restaurants in the city, I wish the noise level was lower, but not much that can be done about that! I will go back again sooner given how wonderful our meal was
Husband and I had a date dinner here before heading to the PAC for a show. We both loved our cadillac margaritas- husband ordered a regular one after and it was not nearly as smooth/delicious so I'd go for the cadillac. The guacamole was good, nothing too special. The goat cheese balls were amazing. I loved the mushroom/zucchini tacos and my husband loved his rock fish tacos. Great dinner before a show. Staff was friendly, restaurant was clean. It was a very chilly night (-15 or less maybe) so the restaurant wasn't very full so ambiance was just OK but we'd go back again. The food is excellent.

calamari app: ok crisp light batter but slid off the strips while picking up. Dipping sauce was flavorful w/ a nice smokey spice to it Duck confit tacos were rich tender luscious. Chicken tacos however were trash. I wouldn't have served them to my guests. Dry flavorless meat begged for more salsa which, apparently was in short supply. For $6. /taco chips and endless salsa should be the norm. Rice and beans were also bland and arrived luke warm, dished out with ice cream scoop. Not really worth the cost of parking in my opinion.

The service was great! We were warmly greeted, escorted to our seats quickly, and received our drinks and food swiftly. The refried beans reminded me of trips to Mexico. There were a lot of options for fish which is very refreshing.
We had a fabulous experience at Tequila 61•. Delicious, innovative food - very fresh; fun ambience; attentive service. We four, having a pre-show meal, shared the shrimp ceviche and empanadas, four kinds of tacos, and two desserts. Everything was wonderful. Excellent classic margaritas, too. Easy walk to the Performing Arts Center. We will be back!

I went there with my hubby for the first time and ordered the pasta with salmon and he ordered the steak. The food was delicious and the restaurant is so beautiful. Staff was friendly and fast. Since it was New Years Eve, the place was still decorated for the holidays, and it made the night even more special. I also had a drink with berries and lemon merengue super delicious. I recommend it a try.

Don't usually give feedback. But I feel compelled with this dinner. The fish was the worst I've ever had, the service was completely lacking. But the space was nice and the bathrooms were clean.
Food was amazing! There was a big group of hipster influencers that were fairly loud and they were at a large table in the middle so it was loud for everyone. Service was awesome! Drinks were great. Definitely one we'd visit again.
Our dining experience fell short of expectations. The waitress appeared displeased with our presence, neglecting to go over the drink menu or clarify pricing. Her irritation at our late guests, caused by road conditions, was evident. She was annoyed that we were catching up and all she wanted was our order, which we were not ready for. Unfortunately, the food was ok. Unsure if a return visit is in the cards.
