Really good and fresh sushi. We got the large boat since my friend and I eat a lot. We were not disappointed. Great service, always checking on the tables to see how everything is.

Food was ok but the service was terrible. The waitress came and offered us some complimentary soup, since I am vegetarian, asked her if the broth is not meat broth. She said “ it’s tofu. it’s better if you don’t eat it, if you are scared.” . We ordered edamame and it was super cold, when we asked to heat it up, she asked you want more hot(in a weird way).

Coming from the Bay Area and having also lived in Santa Barbara, I like to think I have really high standards for sushi. I was so worried when I moved to Anchorage from CA that I would never find a good sushi place. I've tried Ronnie2 and was sooo incredibly disappointed. A friend who is local to Alaska highly recommended reHARU so I gave them a try for both takeout and dine in and it was pretty delicious!! I was really, really pleasantly surprised and happy to find a sushi spot that slaps. Their miso soup is great (I feel like you can tell a lot about a sushi spot based off of the quality of their miso), I've tried several of their baked rolls (pregnant), their pork spring roll appetizers, gyoza, as well as a basic raw spicy tuna roll (pre-pregnancy) and have loved everything I've gotten from here. Their Japanese noodles look fantastic, I can't wait to try their yakisoba noodles next. They're always super friendly when placing an order for takeout, and the dining area is really spacious and nice for eating in! The sushi kitchen is right in the middle of the restaurant so you can watch the chefs make rolls, which I think is a great thing and super important when trying to tell if a sushi place is going to be good or not. I'll definitely continue to come back here throughout my pregnancy and time in Anchorage. Im already planning on asking my husband to pick up sashimi and raw rolls post-delivery in a few months A great spot for sushi, coming from a California native! 10/10 definitely recommend.

This is the best sushi in Anchorage hands down!! Huge rolls for a reasonable price, super delicious & fresh, amazing miso soup delivered to your table right as you sit down.

I’m not a fan of sushi but ReHaru is where my granddaughter wanted to go for her birthday lunch. The atmosphere was delightful and the food was excellent! Our server was full of personality and provided excellent service which earned him a very generous tip (60%). I highly recommend this restaurant as one of the best in Anchorage!

My husband and I visited for the first time tonight and it was amazing! Great food, our server was wonderful and honestly pretty fast even though it seemed packed and he let us know kitchen food would take longer.

I wanted some really good fried rice so I asked my daughter and she told me about this place. I walked in and grabbed a menu and placed my order. I ordered the fried rice, veggie roll, and gyoza. The roll was really tasty, wish i had asked for extra soy sauce and wasabi, But I made it work. The gyoza were amazing, very favorable and the dipping sauce took my breath away. I've had other sauces and this was by far the best. Now the main reason i went and continue to go back is the fried rice. AMAZING! Not to eggy, not loaded with to many veggies, the right amount of spice, and soy sauce. Honestly took me back to home growing up getting food from the corner stores. If you haven't tried it please run so t walk.
