I'm only giving them 2 stars because the daytime bartender was pretty cool but a big heads up if you are BIPOC DO NOT GO TO THIS BAR after dark. Very rude and discriminatory bartender at night. I called the next day and the owner defended "Aaron" or whatever his name was. She did apologize but seemed unbothered by the situation I explained and let me know she would look at cameras to see what happened!!! The bartender was drinking with customers all night and pretty much avoided me or refused to serve me. He was a huge asshole and I was the only black person in the bar huge mistake getting off work early and stopping here and I won't be back. As I said before the daytime bartender was a charmer but this drunk guy behind the bar last night really ruined the experience for me. Extremely unfortunate as it is a really cute pub. But no I won't be back.

The bar is quaint. I met a friend here. She has been coming here for years. The bartender was great. The patrons - well... interesting. I walked into the bar to order a drink. I set the empty glasses on the bar. No one said anything to me. I felt like an outsider. If the bartender said something to me I didn't hear him. However, he brought over new drinks, set them on the bar, and walked away.I was sitting outside in the sun. Rare opportunity to do so. A guy walked up the the table to talk to my friend. I asked permission to touch his beard but touched it before he gave permission. I said "oh sorry" but I do owe him a full apology. Boundaries and consent are important. I had a few drinks at this point, but no excuse. Then awhile later another guy walked out of the bar. I said "oh, he has a nice beard too." Please note I was 6-8 feet away at this point. This guy screamed! Actually screamed! He said "Don't touch my beard! You touched that other guys beard! Don't touch mine!" as he ran away.I thought he was joking because I have NEVER seen a grown man act that way. So I took a couple steps towards him. I did not touch him at all. I finished visiting with my friend and finished my drink. A bit later I went in to pay my tab. Again - NO ONE SAID ANYTHING TO ME. I felt like an intruder. An outsider. I stood at the end of the bar to pay my tab. Further down the bar I saw the guy with the beard. The guy who ran & screamed. I still thought he was joking/playing so I went and stood next to him. Again - I DID NOT TOUCH HIM AT ALL. No part of me touched any part of him. He screamed "Get away from me!!!" and ran out the door. I then went back to the end of the bar to pay my tab. A very nice gentleman at the end of the bar helped me. I am not sure what was going on with the other man. I will apologize for upsetting him, but I never touched him or even said anything to him! I am assuming mental issues but I don't know. The bartender was great, although very quiet. The bar was very clean, the bathrooms were very clean. No food available.I hear the Irish coffees are fantastic. I am not sure if I will go back. If you're looking for a quiet place with summer outdoor seating and good drinks, then give Reilly's a chance. Just don't expect a warm welcome.
