A coworker of mine suggested this spot and This place reminds me of a NYC chinatown spot I used to frequent, as an east coaster who just moved to Girdwood, The food was so good! Flavorful and huge portions my roommate and I ordered so much no expecting the size, but left overs are always great in our house 😌 the service was amazing I didn’t get her name but she was lovely and we will be back, Things I suggest to try is the Udon, absolutely amazing! As well as the crunchy roll, the sauce was to die for!
We were here for the first time and we will not go back. We were waiting for our order and during this time the waiter often came up and asked if we were ready to order and he did so 3 times in 5 minutes. In addition, we had a table in the corner and in the aisle at the same time. I was sitting in the aisle, taking up half of it, and the waiters, when they ran, caught on our chairs. The water they served initially smelled of chlorine. The wooden chopsticks they brought were not packaged, and they put them on the table (which was clearly not super clean). At the end, they brought the bill and automatically indicated a 15% tip. Are you serious? For what? For such service? Well, you did not understand this, so I am writing here for everyone. As for the food, in principle, it is not bad. But a salad for 6 dollars will look like 2 spoons of seaweed. This is sad. I would like to say a special word about the elderly woman with makeup who was intrusive and rude. The toilet is a separate horror. There are greasy stains everywhere, door handles, dust and pieces of food on the floor. There was also dust in the hall near the table.
And the most interesting thing is that some otherworldly owners do not give a discount to the military. If you are a military man, you will not get a discount here.
