The waitress was a train wreck. Overly direct and rude. My daughter paused for a second while ordering and the waitress stop, and said she would come back. Then in a rush multiple times spilled water on us because she was going too fast. The place wasn't full or waiting for tables.

The service wasn't great in the least. I asked the waitress a question about an item, before I got a few words put she automatically said no,we don't have. I asked if I could finish? She just looked at me, so I continued..same response. Rude. It was daughters bday, so it was just her and I. Then when we got the two sushi rolls, no Wasabi and no ginger, no lil decorations? Just the roll? The waitress already annoyed, I asked for the Wasabi and ginger, she looked at me like really. But she brought back what I had asked for. I even told the lady as we arrived it was my daughter's bday. So at the end, we did have some red bean ice cream, that I didn't think I'd like? Turns out was the best in comparison to the rolls.i also got someone else's bill of $88, which i had to point out why it wasnt mine? Clearly two rolls werent worth that much... Not my favorite for the food or the service. Atmosphere was semi quiet. Ample parking? Needless to say I wont be going back to soon. Sorry.

Ronnie Sushi has always been 10/10 every time I go. I've made a habit of going everytime I'm in Anchorage. I've tried quite a bit of the sushi so far haven't had one I disliked. I'd strongly recommend the Yakatori Chicken.

The miso soup that they bring to the table is always perfect with a strong miso favor base.

The food here is good, but the service has been terrible the last few times we’ve come in. The staff are extremely rude, not kid-friendly, and absolutely not autism-friendly.

Today while I was ordering a dinner special and asking for extra soup and rice for my kids, the waitress walked away in the middle of my order saying, “oh my god.” After we finished eating, I even tried to help clean up the table, and she muttered, “oh my god, maybe next time no kids.”

That kind of behavior is unacceptable. Families should not be treated this way, and it’s clear they don’t want kids or special needs families dining here.

The food might be good, but the way customers — especially families — are treated makes this a place I cannot recommend.

Easily 5 stars. Complimentary miso soup with salad. We ordered a large boat and were able to swap out a roll for a different one with no issue. They gave us complimentary fried oreo and edamane as well which was great. I would definitely come here again.

It's a delicious, friendly restaurant that makes my family happy every time we eat out.

I had the yakisoba. I thought both the chicken and beef were way overcooked and dried out. The noodles and the flavor were very good!

Food was always great but one night i got served by someone incredibly rude. She was impatient and uninterested when she took my order. When the food came out 45 minutes later, she brought it out but walked over to the table next to me and was chatting them up. While still talking to them she practically tossed my plate on my table and kept chatting them up. She never once showed a single ounce of baseline customer care to me at all. I haven't eaten there since

Go to Miso on Dimond. Ronnie's food is good but Miso is way better and their servers don't treat you like shit

I will say we stopped going to Ronnie’s for a long time after one of our favorite servers stopped working there. Food started coming out late, did NOT taste the same. It was heartbreaking as this was our families go to place from the time our kiddo was born to thankfully now we are back at our kiddo is 10!
Christine is a staple at Ronnie’s and she kept us coming back for her kindness above all and never making us feel like our kid was ruining anyone else’s experience. ( for the record we are not those parents… if the kid become inconsolable or just going thru it we would always quickly ask for the check and leave haha) …
After Christine’s departure we would go back and it wasn’t the same at all. Even the food!
We started coming back a few months back when we heard the rumors were true of her return and to our surprise the place was packed, food came out in a timely manner, and tasted like it used to.
I would definitely recommend Ronnie’s in Jewel lake to anyone and ask for Christine you won’t be disappointed. Very happy to see her back!!!!!!
